Langdon's in Isle of Anglesey

Had Sunday dinner here after being recommended by a few people.I wasn't impressed at all, meat had little flavour like it was boiled, the mash tasted like instant and the veg most of it was frozen. The floor next to our table was covered in food from previous diners and wasn't cleared up and to top it all off we were charged £3.50 for a coke. All in all not a good experience and won't be returning.

A lovely evening to celebrate my Mum's Birthday whilst staying on the Island for the weekend.I reserved a table on that afternoon. Staff went above and beyond to help make our meal wonderful. Always like visiting here. Can highly recommend to everyone.

8 adults 3 children, great atmosphere great food children meals good choice, our children all had pizza good size and their own pizza cutter which added to their enjoyment of eating, friendly attentive staff. 2 had steak, a lamb, and a curry and 2 had burgers all cooked to perfection, drinks good price and fruit shoots for children handy in case of spilling a glass, all round a pleasant afternoon, booking advisable the you won't be disappointed 😊

Popped in for a very quick bite to eat. 3 small plates with fries for just £18 which was plenty for lunch. Staff very nice. Very clean and tidy with lovely views.Food was great, good choice of different foods and drinks. Would come back if ever this way again.

Ok food, very busy, £12 per carvery, soft vegetables and roasties, some nice views from the windows but didn't get one as I'd asked as only two of us. Some plates were piled high. The gravy was delicious and should be sold in cartons!

Found this place on Google and what a find. After visiting Holyhead for many years and always heading for the chipper we decided to treat ourselves to a good meal before boarding the ferry and ho what a find.The staff where great the food was delicious and the location is beautiful. They had a big party in and where still attentive to our table.Definitely our new place to eat when visiting Holyhead.

I'd only been here for a drink a couple of years ago. However my best friend decided to choose here as a reunion spot after hearing there was a new menu.Having walked in we stated we had a table booked to which they guided us at the back out the way which suited us fine. The menu held a combination of asian style dishes to fish and chips. To start I chose one of three cocktails ( a strawberry daiquiri) and my friend the calamari .The cocktail was the best part of the meal and apparently the calamari tasted fresh.For mains , between us we ordered fish and chips, katsu chicken with summer veg and hake in a sauce.All of these cost around £14 each.When the food arrived our hearts sank. The battered fish was soggy on top of frozen chips. As for the summer veggie on the side this consisted of tomatoes and salad with a bit of breaded chicken..rice and a small pot of katsu. As for my hake it tasted like one of those boil in a bag. Frozen potatoes oh but the sweet peas were nice.Throughout the meal we were constantly asked if we wanted anymore drinks despite having full vessles.At the end we were forgotten about so walked up to pay. The meal came to £70 which I think is steep for Iceland like food.I'd pop in for a drink to sit and enjoy the view, as for the food I wouldn't dare risk it again.
