Lucky House in Isle of Anglesey

Roast pork fried rice and special curry absolutely perfect. Curry sauce is the best its ever been. Tasty, quick, generous with meat. Loved every bite.

Used Lucky House for many summers and thought it excellent. Visited today and very disappointed. BBQ ribs were tough texture and Duck & Mushroom which used to be high quality now 'filled out' with carrots, onions and Duck pieces rather than the slices they used to serve.

Delicious food and very generous portions! Roast pork chow mein was outstanding and it was the crispy-est chilli beef we've had anywhere on anglesey. Call ahead as it can get really busy

Lots of good quality meat and friendly staff."Recently we visited again after the refurbishment (which from what i could tell comprised of changing the bulb in the shop front to a brighter one) . Staff again very friendly and helpful.Got home and my god the food was revolting. The only edible item was the boiled rice. We both had curry. The sauce was as thick as custard, but tasted ok. However the meat , if you could call it that, was disgusting.It was the chewy jelly type chicken and beef that your teeth just cannot get through. I wouldnt give my dogs meat of that quality.The lot went in the bin !!

Absolutely the worst meal I've had. In the sprimg roll-1 prawn and 2 tiny pieces of unidentifiable meat. The rest was all bean sprouts. - the cantonese chicken fried rice must have had the sauce mixed in the rice because it was lumpy like a greasy rice pudding with dry chicken- even the cat wouldn't eat it. Very rude staff. It wasn't busy (no surprise there) only me and one other person. Never again.

We have been having food from Lucky House for years. They closed for a while this year and when they reopened, the food was absolutely disgusting. They must of changed hands? Won't be going there again.

Without a doubt, the worst chinese we have ever had! Special fried rice came in same disgusting gloopy sauce as chicken and cashew nuts. Chilli salt shredded beef absolutely tasteless. The place is shut for a couple of weeks now. Do the town a favour, don't re-open. Avoid at all costs !

Very friendly and quick service. Delicious sweet and sour pork. Prawn crackers were crisp but not greasy. Everything very tasty and still hot after ten min drive.

Had a takeaway from here and how weird. I got sweet and sour chicken it was balls of battered chicken with sauce seperate so no onions or peppers. Chips were horrible ,my spring rolls were nice and the banana fritters were really nice with plenty of syrup. But wouldn't choose to go here again
