Meghna Tandoori in Isle of Anglesey

Wow !!! Is all I kept saying whilst eating at this restaurant. Firstly, you get a friendly welcome straight away and are seated. The place is spotlessly clean. The service is excellent, drinks and poppadums served within a few minutes. The menu is extensive but all of my fav’s were there. I was in a group of four people and we all agreed that the food was sublime. We are originally from the West Midlands and have eaten many a curry but this has to be one of the best, if not the best curry ever. If you are near, get yourself there, you will not be disappointed.

We decided to book this restaurant as in this town you are very limited to where you can eat.Outside appearance wasn't very attractive down an alleyway I'm very bad signage for a business, We entered the property into what resembled a school dining hall, If it wasn't for the smell of the food you wouldn't have a clue what type of venue this was No decorations remotely relating to the restaurant or the theme.Service Was prompt an adrink's orders were taken within a few moments of a sitting down, main courses were ordered a short time later together with a pickle tray.Food taste was average presentation was ok , peshwari nan was tasty Chapathi's were a little overcooked.The food prices were a little above average however the drinks prices were extortionate, A pint of diet coke was £4.95 which was poured from a bottle which we saw bought from the shop.Would i return , No, I would travel a few miles to Bangor

Excellent food. Broad selection of dishes. Good service. Wait time for the food was short.Didn’t give 5 stars because they charged for something that we didn’t have or order. The menu on display outside shows prices that are a lot less than the prices on the menu that you are given when you sit down, which might be illegal as there is no suggestion that it’s takeaway prices only. Shame that they do that because the food was really good, and the prices were still reasonable.

Very busy which is always a good sign.A bit village hall in appearance inside after a courtyard entrance, we were soon sat and menu's proffered. Standard Indian fayre to a fairly good expectation. Service appeared good. We did order an item which wasn't on the menu (mottor panir, (cheesy peasy)) which wasn't a problem. Overall reasonably impressed.

We came to beaumaris for our 10 year anniversary and decided to try out sarisa restaurant. Im so glad we did. The staff were amazing so friendly nothing was to much for them. The food was fantastic so well cooked and full of flavour. Portion sizes were alot more them you would expect for the price. Thank you so much we had the best time. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend to any one. x

Update 6 years later...New owners and new menu and new layout. Very friendly, food is just as good. Will carry on eating here in the future and good luck to the new team.This place is amazing! Great food and service really good value for money. Really can't fault them!

Excellent food, husband had garlic chilli lamb (& basmati rice) and I had chicken Naga (& pilau rice). Very tasty and of course spicy👍. We had ordered a raiita and a naan which were not served with our food. The raita came quickly but the naan took a few minutes (cooked fresh and worth waiting for). We ate there on a Thursday evening and there were quite a few in.Staff were friendly, helpful and polite.Definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately really poor quality food. 😕 we ordered several dishes that were very watery. The veg korma had a tiny amount of what looked like frozen veg in it. Nan bread was chewy. So disappointing as we had a curry from here a couple of years ago and it was spot on.

I’ve recently visited Beaumaris for a holiday and we had 2 excellent takeaway meals from Meghan. The food is seasoned beautifully and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Please don’t be put off by the exterior, or you will miss out on a treat.

Best Indian around by miles, food is superb, great service, well worth a visit.
