Price's Chip Shop in Isle of Anglesey

This is a strange review. Didn't realy come to Holyhead for fish and chips . Came here because I came here a few times in the late 80s with my dad fishing of the breakwater. Me and the misses were looking for a day out so we decided to visit Holyhead. So 3 hours later we arrived . We walked along the breakwater to the light house and back and was bloomin staving after our walk so we googled fish and chip shops . Prices came up top of the list in Holyhead. So we decided to give it a try . OMG so glad we did . Chips were amazing the fish was even better :) . I have a big appetite and I left a few chips . Would highly recommend this chip shop. Pitty we live 3 hours away . If we ever come back will definitely go there again . Top nosh and fantastic service

Friendly staff and very clean inside, but if I'm honest the food wasn't to my liking, they only cook fish to order so as soon as it's ready they dish it up leaving it full greasy oil, peas were very pale in colour and tasteless.

Great fish and chips - the fish was superb quality - plenty of cod and right amount of batter coating, Chips were great also. Staff were very friendly :) Big Thumbs up.

I have been frequenting this Fish n Chip restaurant for over 6 months. The staff are very friendly and professional, the food is of a very high standard. The prices are very reasonable. I would recommend Prices, to anyone, very highly

I have eaten here a couple times now the food is OK but and here is the but. I don't know what they do with there oil but there is a funny taste / smell from it. The prices are pretty high and well the fact the owner can't even be bothered to Answer on people's reviews here in over 4 years says alot I think I personally eat from The Chippy just down the road from here now as the food doesn't have the funny oil based taste this chip shop has. Staff is friendly and the shop. Itself is tidy and clean but it is the food quality that brings people back.
