Sea Shanty Cafe in Isle of Anglesey

The Sea Shanty cafe is the place to go!A warm atmosphere with tasteful nautical decoration, the cafe has an approachable and unique style. Every corner has something new to discover, adding another level to our visit.The food was phenomenal! Tasty, hearty and beautifully served, the chef's deserve praise for their high standards.The staff were approachable and kind and made sure that we were well looked after and are a real credit to the cafe.I highly recommend The Sea Shanty and will be coming back for more!

Lots of character, cheerful atmosphere and excellent food (one of the best seafood pastas I've had!) Food portions are generous, good alue for money. The staff seem to enjoy working there, service was quick, efficient and friendly. Highly recommended!

Great place, love the interior; so many interesting ocean things on the walls and ceiling. Staff were excellent, very welcoming and attentive. We had a problem with one dish and the manager took that off the price of the bill without any fuss made. Food and drink was very good, a little overpriced for some dishes though. I would have given five stars had it not been for my steak being a little bit grissely and not having enough veg.

Staff were great, approachable. The establishment was clean, tidy and the decor interesting.The food was excellent and the coffee hit the spot. Had Welsh Rarebit, with bacon and a poached egg (one of my favourites).Bring back the pancakes.

Visited Sea Shanty cafe for lunch whilst we were in Wales and we loved it. The space is huge, tables are spread out and very comfortable. Because we are in the middle of winter, the fire was going and had this lovely cosy feel to it.Food was outstanding, for starters we had hallumi fries and calamari followed by Thai pork belly and fish and chips and my son had the popcorn chicken. Everything was delicious, staff were very welcoming and everything was spot on.We are happy enough to go back again tomorrow for lunch.Also huge plus as it is dog friendly and the location is right on a beach.

Fantastic food which is freshly cooked and good value. The service was attentive without being in your face. The atmosphere is very relaxing with a warm family feel. Nice touch as they accept well behaved dogs upto 6pm

Really lovely restaurant.We were nicely surprised that we could take out dog with us.The food was amazing.We ordered starters and mains.Highly recommend halloumi starter.

Recommended for lunch, not disappointed. Friendly service, great food and lovely decor. Great atmosphere. Listening to shipping forecasts in the ladies was novel! Would recommend.

This is such a great place to have a meal or just a coffee. I love the whole sea theme going through. Especially gorgeous before Christmas. Meals are reasonably priced. Car park is big but paid, but off season it is enough parking on street. Lovely staff. Clean premises and overall good experience. I personally been her few times and I love coming back.

Two days in a row, we couldn't get a table, fully booked... We chanced our luck with a late dinner and just walked in .. quick 20 minutes wait and we had a table for four.Brilliant staff, great location, brilliant atmosphere and fabulous menu, spoilt for choice, all the dishes were super tasty, perfectly balanced and well presented, absolutely loved the whole experience and would highly recommend this place.Minor point, my friend didn't like there option of fries/chips, tried both, but that's personal tasty I believe. Staff understood good customer service, product knowledge was high and attention to detail on point, plus super flexible to serve our drinks the way we like them, so a big thank you from us to the staff 👍🏽
