South Stack Cafe in Isle of Anglesey

Lovely place to come on a sunny day. Stunning views. Cafe at site serving drinks and sandwiches. With option to pay a small fee to walk the steps and bridge to the island.

A stunning place which is ran brilliant. Essential and much needed work being done to educate and protect. The binoculars that you can use in the tower along with the very knowledgeable wardens was a great addition.

Wonderful,tranquil, lots of beautiful birds to see, and some amazing walks, the lighthouse is a must visit but be aware there are over 400 steps down to it and the 400+steps were harder on the way back up,oh deep joy!there is a lovely cafe and 50yds away there is a lookout building for viewing the birds.A great day!

Although the lighthouse was closed, it was worth taking the 375 odd steps down till the bridge. The view was breathtaking. It was divinely peaceful to sit and watch the silent sea and the sunset. There's a cafe near by to rejuvenate yourself. Must visit place in Holyhead.

A beautiful day out at rspb nature reserve, lots of dog walking, although beware dogs can't go into the lighthouse.The lookout tower gave great views across the Irish Sea

Great location. Fantastic facilities, including shop, café and toilet.The staff were very friendly and informative.There is a viewing house overlooking the cliffs with free to use telescopes and binoculars.Saw a lovely Peregrine Falcon.

I took the long walk from Holyhead to South stack and this was a well deserved stop for a nice cup of coffee and something sweet . Beautiful views around , plenty of benches to rest in general this is a nice place to eat and relax after a long journey . This facility provides inside and outside sittings , a coffee shop , a gift shop , toilets and car park . There is also a bird tower nearby but it was closed for some reason and don't forget that you can also visit hut circles ( a beautiful ancient monuments site ) which is around 5 minutes walk from here . All in all , a good experience .

This is quite possibly one of the places to visit in Holhead if not Anglesey. Bird/wildlife spotting, amazing scenery, cafe, plenty of parking and of course enough walks to please even the most avid rambler!

Great place for a wander but be warned there are lots of steps, lots of them...Parking is £5 all day, good cafe facilities with restroom.Knowledgeable staff on hand to answer your questions. You can easily spend a few hours here...
