The Boathouse Hotel Restaurant in Isle of Anglesey

Here having an evening meal and the food is good but the staff are exceptional.It is the staff that make a restaurant and this team do a great job.

Had a coffe and a meal staff friendly. clean. Prices not to bad lovely walk area.

Visited today with a friend who lives locally. Sadly had to complain with regards to our meal. Been previously and all was fine but today the meal wasn't up to scratch and we were disappointed. This place is under new management and it was a shame as we like to support local businesses and believe Holyhead can be a success. We discreetly spoke to the new manager and explained our concerns and she was so understanding and appreciated our feedback. They are trying to make a success in these hard times and I would recommend their customer service and hospitality in that now we will definitely give them another go. Please support them as I really believe in time they will make it a success.

I've not starred the rooms as I've not stayed here.Lovely food and service.Options to sit inside in conservatory or outside for the views of the Bridgewater. Great for sunny clear days.Sandwiches/baguettes freshly made.Family friendly.

Just been to the Boathouse for Sunday lunch, absolutely lovely, new Chef in place food was delicious, all home made even the sweet. Staff were brilliant and made us feel welcomed, light and happy atmosphere, went away feeling I'll definitely be returning very soon, thank you all at the Boathouse.

The service is fantastic and the staff are friendly and they go the extra mile.the food is outstanding especially the special menu which I thoroughly enjoyed the ox cheek main course totally melt in the mouth ( no pun intended) would gladly come here again

Food Was ok fish would have been nice if the batter wasnt so thick. no measures for covid , werent really bothered about mask wearing never asked to sign the track and trace book , definitely room to improve.

I really enjoyed the service, the staff are really friendly and nice to talk to with polite manners and the food was exceptional i especially enjoyed the chef’s burger it not only looked nice but tasted nice as well I will definitely be coming back.

Didn't stay just called in for lunch. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and polite. Food home cooked not mass produced so lovely to get proper chunky home made chips. Thanks we be back
