The Crown in Isle of Anglesey

Shame you can't book a table with your dog. There is not much space in the dog friendly area, need to get there early. Not very comfortable either. We ordered for well before they started serving so expected the did to be fresh as we were the first there, but the chips were stale and cold not very appetising. Fish was nice as was the goujons. Was hoping for more as we are staying in the village but would rather travel elsewhere for food.

Staff polite, friendly and well mannered. Food was exceptional (Small Gammon with egg). They even have a non dog friendly section 👍. Will be back.

We popped in for a quick drink only to be told that we could not sit down as the football crowd were coming in.The football was not on for another 2 hours. Being locals ourselves we will not be returning. Very rude owner.

Came across this pub by chance but wasn't disappointed. Recommend the small fish and chips. Reasonable price and very nice too! Staff were very friendly. The pub is a bit like a rabbit warren with small rooms as well as an outside area.

Called in only because cafe was closed. Staff were brilliant and opened up back gate so we could lock our bikes safely. Very good selection of beer was and food delicious. Throughout the staff were great, friendly and helpful. Cosy atmosphere with wood burner keeping room very warm. Brilliant. Plan to return soon. Thanks.

Love pleces, good atmosphere, lovely food and best of all for us it's dog friendly.Would definitely recommend a visit will definitely call again when over that way... But if weather not good would phone to book table inside as not many dog friendly tables inside.

Awesome, what a gem of a place. We are trying to have a pint in every pub on the island and this has been a nice surprise, friendly staff, happy locals and superb beer. What more could you ask for? Dog friendly too, with water supplied for the pup. Will visit again for food and more local ales!

Small cozy pub, good home cooked food accompanied by friendly service. Welcome dish of vegetables with our meals which you don't get as standard nowadays. Dog friendly in the bar area. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
