Lovely little hotel, rooms quite basic but comfortable and decently equipped. Friendly staff, hearty food, very good breakfast… there is certainly no going hungry in the mornings! Great location, minutes walk from the charming beach and harbour. Overall a very enjoyable stay, hope to be back again!

Awful service from start to finish not many of the workers are customer service focused. They waited half hour before we where offered drinks after being seated ,nearly 2 and a half hours in total for a two course meal. Food was mediocre for £21 for 2 courses we expected more as we ate here last year and the food was a lot better. We wouldn’t rush back the best thing about the 2 courses was the custard.

We had an amazing stay. Rooms great, friendly staff - especially Ben who was attentive, helpful, fun; you name it! Food and drinks at the bar were really good too. Friendly guests and locals.

The Harbour Hotel is in a fabulous position overlooking the harbour. Our room was very small, adequate and clean but dated. The paintwotk in the corridors was desperately in need of attention. The general appearance from the outside is sadly tatty. Cigarette butt's and weeds and furniture in need of a lick of paint. The place could be spectacular with some serious money being spent. I realise that after two difficult years that's unlikely to happen. The breakfast was really good and it was nicely presented. The staff were very polite and friendly. A good brush up outside would work wonders.

OK, room was a bit tired but absolutely perfectly clean with a fantastic view of the harbour and beach from the sunny balcony. The service was excellent and all the staff so friendly and helpful, we had a super stay and hope to visit again soon. P.S breakfast and evening meals top notch! Thanks!

Found large spider in room. As soon as took the phone put it disappeared under the table. Although, friendly staff, good breakfast. Lack of shops around the area. There are two nearest beach, one of them is nice and clean. Both beaches are within 200 yards. Room quality isn't that good compared with actual hotels. There is actually third hidden beach which I've managed to find the way.

A hotel which requires a good update, however, in a very good position immediately opposite the harbour and beach area. Front facing rooms with good sized balconies. Excellent full breakfast, pleasant staff and free parking. In a very convenient position close to local shops.

We stayed here for the night 4 Feb and it is a tale of 2 halves. First half - The room. I would best describe ours as tired and leave it there. Did have a great view though.Second half - The food. The evening meal was lovely. Sliced steak in a stilton sauce on fries that was gorgeous! The pudding(photo) was apple crumble cheesecake which was unusually wonderful.Breakfast was all we could ask for👍Definitely recommend for meals but would advise lower expectations of rooms or certainly the twin that we ended up with.

Seriously if you know me by now everything is about my boy Harrybeau 🐾, well this hotel is excellent I ordered my meal and my boy got a jumbo sausage. Absolutely attentive staff made us feel welcome. My steak was cooked to perfection and the meals are substantial, thank you so much x

It didn't look cosy from the outside. Inside neither looked cosy but we got a table quickly and it's dog friendly and I felt at ease as it was lovely and warm. Service was quick, friendly and food nice. The restaurant was clean, menu was reasonable. Toilets were clean. Reasonable priced. Lovely view of the harbour. I'd go again if I visited.
