The Midland Tapas & Wine Bar in Isle of Anglesey

Parking close is difficult. Once inside there is a good atmosphere. Ask for help with the food if you are a newcomer as some dishes are quite hot and spicy, my wife did not enjoy her meal and hardly ate anything because this. Considering we did not enjoy the food, I thought it was overpriced. A small bowl of potatoes with a sauce ect cost around £8. Would not go again.

Nice little restaurant, normal tapas , good service and fair prices, only down side I find with Tapas is I always feel hungry still afterwards unless I order a lot of dishes. But that's Tapas for you .

Great atmosphere is this small tapas restaurant. Lots of great option that where very tasty. Blue cheese and crackers where very tasty, tacos where a pleasant unique taste that is sure to be different to any taco you have had before. Meatballs where nice but not amazing but that's just me not behing very adventurous on my food selection. If your looking for tapas in the area I would look no further than here. My only gripe is that the staff could have been a touch more attentive as they could have gotten a few more glasses of wine out of me if they had asked how we where.

Loved it, nice casual setting, pleasant service and the food is top notch, really nice. If you like to have a varied dinner with influences from around the world, this is the place for you. 5 dishes and wine did £62 is perfectly reasonable as well. Recommended.

The food was actually very good and the portion were quite generous for a tapas restaurant. 2-3 plates per person would be more than enough.However, for the bad points; seating is really rather cramped, music is extremely loud, prices are a little high for tapas, £8-10 for most dishes so you're paying almost £30 per person for what amounts to one course. They also forgot a couple of our dishes so we only ended up having 4 between us which was enough in the end.

I would give this place 5 stars for the food, 4 stars for the service, 0 star for the manger, terrible. Failed to mention as we ordered hundreds of pounds of food for 7 people that we only had 1.30hrs for our table. We were then overrruning causing the next table to be moved to another table. We were made to feel the ones in the wrong when all the food had not arrived. It was zero our fault. As said food great, the young girl who served us was great (who was apologiesing for the managers behaviour) also great.. I would go back for the food alone.

We had tapas here with friends one evening. My wife has been for lunch before, so I knew to expect good things. There is a nice range of interesting dishes, including vegetarian options. The quality was exceptional and the service very good. The only criticism I could make is that the straw chips were oily - I gather this was just a one-off mistake. I would recommend the Midland if tapas is what your looking for

Lovely food. Smoky, flavoursome patatas bravas, chorizo and meatballs, delicious chilli chicken, succulent prawns... And decent churros and Crema Catalana for dessert!I was too busy eating to get pics of everything, but it was a Spanish feast, and the service was pleasant and efficient on a busy Saturday evening.Definitely worth a visit 👍

Fantastic food and service. Really tasty all very fresh and very good value for money.
