Nice friendly place, full of seaside charm. Nice coffee and cake, ideal after a day on the beach.

Excellent small cafe really close to the beach. Accomdated my family of 7 with a welcoming smile and really good food at very reasonable prices. They serve a great cappuccino too. Well worth a visit.

·

Very nice dog friendly cafe with an unusually good and different menu. Lovely coffee and flapjack too and not extortionate prices like some.

We had possibly one of the best bacon rolls we've ever had here! Only reason for a four star and not five is we went back a few days later for a full English and unfortunately it wasn't as nice but could have just been an off day and we would definitely recommend trying the bacon roll!

Visited the cafe on Sunday 27th March. Waited over 20 minutes for 2 coffees which were barely warm. Was disgusted to see the man behind the counter use his fingers to turn the bacon on the griddle. Also when an order for a sausage barm was given as bacon he took the bacon off the barm cake with his fingers and replaced it with sausages, putting the bacon back on the griddle. Bad hygiene and shows the food wasn't hot. As a vegetarian this concerns me too. A couple near to where I was waiting had vege breakfasts. Both left 80% of their food. Maybe they witnessed what was going on during their meal. Also hash browns were being cooked with the meat. Last observation. The man wiped his hands down his trousers when he had handled the meat. If I could have given a minus star I would.

Great friendly staff, only popped in for a coffee and ice cream with my little girl but the service was great.

Visited the Surf Cafe for the first time today along with my son and grandson. Very friendly greeting, felt very welcome ! My son had the surf breakfast, plentiful and butcher quality bacon, black pudding etc... I opted for the vegetarian breakfast, Again fabulous. Grandson had hot dog( proper sausages) served with coleslaw etc. Highly recommend!
