Nice except for the seating area for the cafe when you have a dog, then it is appalling. Dirty, certainly not inviting. Seems to be an afterthought. Definitely NOT impressed. Could and should be better.

Meal for 2 with deserts and drinks for £40. Can't find that anywhere in restaurants on the island. Superb Gammon and eggs with delicious chips. Deserts were superb and contained clotted cream rather than cheap stuff. Excellent ground coffee.

Garden centre itself was fine. Coffee shop service was abysmal.I ordered a cheese and chutney sandwich which came with no chutney as pictured. When I went to ask for some, I was given a small glass jar of chutney which had already been opened. As we had the dog with us we had to sit outside (in an under cover area) - which would have been completely fine if it wasn’t for the fact the outdoor seating was really unclean and unattractive.Queue was very slow moving and there was one A4 menu to share between the whole queue. Display boards were up with some of the menu on, but not the full range.

An excellent garden centre with a wide variety of plants and a good selection of household goodies to spend your money on. Yet to eat in the restaurant. It was very busy.Nice place to spend the afternoon.

·

Nice quality plants and good range of other goods. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and dog friendly. Didn't try the cafe - maybe next time!

This is generally really great garden centre. They have a good variety of gifts and the plants are mostly in really good condition. The cafe/restaurant is open, bright and not cramped. My only suggestion would be to offer a nice big salad for those of us who can't eat refined carbs. The staff are usually warm and friendly.

Lovely shop go there often. Get all my crafting supplies there. Great craft demonstration there to. ( you can see in store dates) nice new look to store and Cafe. Love the food in cafe.Update Just came in today Mar 2022 after not been able for a while with covid restrictions, sad to see craft section not there anymore 😢 it was a great place to get craft supplies.Still a good but pricy garden centre. But wont need to visit so much now with no craft store inside.

Had a great intellectual discussion on books and writing with a most interesting young lady member of the cafe staff. I also had a lovely cherry scone and tea. Made my day.

·

Went to get some plants. Lots of choice of lovely healthy looking plants. A bit disappointed that their craft area has gone and while the scone I had was really good and fresh it was a substitute as the choices for lunch were limited.

I love this garden centre. They always have such a good choice of plants and pots. Lovely bits and bobs for your house too. Plants and pots are affordable, house bits more pricey. They have gorgeous display usually over Christmas and Santas Grotto. New restaurant in the back with good food but bit long wait.
