Rooms a little dated but clean, however, restaurant and food were amazing. Friendly staff and great location

Had a meal on Father's Day great friendly service, food beautiful, then took grandchildren to play in beer garden

We'd stopped here several years ago on a trip to Ireland and it was all lovely, so on a return visit we were a bit disappointed.The room was dated and in need of a refurbishment.The bathroom in particular- poor lighting, no plughole, the bathpanel was falling off and the ceiling panelling was starting to come away.The cosy seating area gone, it is now soley focused on food.However, the food was very good and all of our dishes were tasty.

In the area on short camping break so called in on passing for a meal. Lovely clean bright place, excellent service from friendly staff. Meal was very good, plentiful portions and very tasty ( chicken curry, fish and chips)

Very convenient for late arrival from Dublin ferry. Room clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast

Very warm welcome staff were friendly and welcoming. My partner had the salt and pepper oinion petels as starter, and I had the garlic king prawns, which we didn't have to wait very long for. And for mains I had the hunters chicken and my partner had the chicken burger. Both excellent meals, complements to the chef's. Every time we come back it is excellent.

Stayed one night on the way back from Ireland. Very convenient. Friendly welcome good price. Excellent restaurant. Will stay again.

Called in for lunch. We hadn't booked but a table for two was quickly found. Chose from lite bites menu though a la carte was available. Rustic chips were nice. My Valley ham was thick, big and tasty. Fried egg was perfect. The scampi went down well too. We will be back

Called in for an evening meal whilst competing at Anglesey Circuit. Soup was fantastic but steak (rump) a little tough. Has had a revamp since last visit.

I arrived here late on a ferry from Dublin and was worried there would be noone around, fortunately they have an out of hours number, I got to the room and had a great night sleep!The place is currently being refurbished but there was no disturbance during my stay. The room was clean and warm, tea and coffee were plentyful as well as a bottle of mineral water which is always a nice touch. The room was ensuite and the bathroom was clean and modern. Will definitely stay again when I'm in the area thanks for a lovely stay!
