Ironworks in Wrexham

A pristine pub that has been renovated well. The owner is an extremely friendly lady and Panda (the dog) is a pleasant touch .Prices are acceptable and drinks are adequate.Though I can't rate the food as on my last visit I didn't have a chance to get any.

I went with a friend who is deaf to ironworks. I have a medically exempt card stating I can't wear a mask. The manager told me they do not accept the medically exempt cards from your GP. I told him this is discrimination and against the equality Act 2010. He said he didn't care, so me and my friend left his pub and went somewhere else.

I used to love the Ironworks, the food was amazing and the drinks are served well but most importantly the venue is amazing it had two floors which you could get lost in your own room and drink away the day. However now the food price has increased with minimal quality, the drinks are still the same yet only HALF the pub is open. Upstairs has been closed for a long time now and it's a shame because that was most of the appeal. GET IT BACK TO HOW IT WAS.

Bouncers said we needed to leave after buying 30 shots 5 mins prior in Ironworks. Promised free entry into New York New York/Penny Black, thrown out a few minutes after despite getting passed the bouncers) for taking these drinks in.

Ground floor is usually sticky but everywhere else apart from the restrooms are okay. The bar is okay too.

Went for the challenge burger good selection of pub grub on the menu for great prices Staff extremely friendly and welcoming.

Actively discouring feminism, I was told I wasn't allowed entrance, in a sleeveless top while being slapped where potential sleeves could be, then I pointed out there was a women with a sleeveless top in the bar and they said it was fine for women not men.

This place truly has the worst smelling toilets in the world, it really smells like old stale poo. The bar staff were friendly and the beer was ok though

A great place to eat as there burgers are out of this world, a fantastic atmosphere as they play some great music, the staff are friendly and they have a great gin bar there, all in all 10/10

Me and my family stumbled across the Iron works last week when in Wrexham visiting family. We called in @ 12.30 for some lunch, we ordered drinks and food @ the bar and were amazed to be informed that our children would eat free! We sat @ the front of the unit as they have a dedicated area for families and children which was great as we got to eat our lunch in relative peace and quite whilst the kids watched TV, the food was excellent value and well presented and the young lady who served us was very polite and attentive you cant ask for more than that!
