Kings Head in Wrexham

What a fabulous pub. We wanted to go somewhere after going to Llandegla bike park and found this place just 10 minutes away. The food was fabulous. The chips were proper chips and full of flavour, the steak and ale pie (in propper short crust party) was fantastic and the peas were cooked to perfection. The lasagne was massive and really tasty and it was all presented beautifully.We were only on softdrinks as we wet driving but there was a nice selection of real ale as well as the usual drinks.Highly recommended.

Well, what can I say about the Kings Head? We'd been to Errdig NT for the day (6 of us plus a toddler) and we tried to find a pub on a sunny Saturday evening; not easy. The first one we called was booked up and aren't we glad! We ended up here at the Kings Head, which was about 10 mins drive from Errdig. The staff were very accommodating and the menu was good pub food. I must say we didn't expect much, but we were very surprised at how good everything was. We all had something different and there was not a scrap left. We all commented on how much we'd enjoyed our meals. The chips get special mention as they were the best chips I've ever had in a pub. There were 2 large screen TVs showing rugby; we were in Wales after all! So, thanks go to the Kings Head for finishing off a lovely day for us all. If we are in the area again we will definitely be back.

Lovely breakfast, good quality tasty food, very good value and excellent customer care.

Three of us (and two dogs) dropped by for a late Breakfast. Excellent. Quality ingredients all freshly cooked. Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended! ☺

Lovely food. Everywhere nice and clean. The pub is under new management but staff were friendly.

Nice pub, nice pint, polite service... just a little small for my personal taste...that's nothing again the pub itself just the way it laid out.

Very cosy country pub, with friendly and efficient personnel and quick service. Food was very good. Live fire to add to the atmosphere. Would visit again!

Fantastic to see this place still open. Owners have invested so much in this place, it is great so nice true traditional pub feel with quality outlook. Very good selection of beers and wines including Wrexham larger on draft. The food is excellent, quality and value for money with a brilliant choice. A must visit you will not be disappointed 👍😁

Had a lovely roast dinner in the Kings Head today, just a short drive from my daughter and son in laws house, didn't realise this hidden gem was so close until I googled restaurants in bylchgwyn. We didn't wait long at all , the staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very festive and welcoming on a very misty winter day. Will certainly be paying this place another visit.
