Absoloutely amazing, the afternoon Tea was simply fantastic. Good selection of sandwiches with ham, cheese, salmon & chicken mayo. All very very tasty & well presented.The mini cake selection was also very tasty with fresh berries adorning some cakes.The scones were very light & the jam was excellent.Tea was was perfectly brewed & a 2nd pot was well received.Service was very friendly & nothing was too much trouble.Thankyou for a lovely afternoon.

I enjoyed the food, however, I was expecting more considering the place and price. The meet was too undercooked (Sunday roast), yet they did took it to cook for longer when I asked. The people serving the tables were quite serious and not particularly welcoming.

Unbelievably bad. Dirty carpets, terrible parking and music from the kitchen until 10.30pm and again at 7.30am. Single glazing windows, so nice and chilly too.Don't be fooled by the fancy sign and lighting outside.(The 1st pic is the gap to get in the car park)

A lovely little place to visit for afternoon tea. Beautiful building that has been tastefully renovated and is clean and modern inside. The afternoon teas was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared and great value. Service was warm, friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit.

The welcome was fine but the restaurent was unheated. Not very comfortable in December. No crackers on the table for out Christmas festive meal and there were ten of us. The food was edible but portions were noticeably small, and the lamb was of a very poor quality. A very mediocre affair altogether. Will not be visiting again.

Excellent food and service - we enjoyed our meals and no problem swapping one veg for another. Another special request- it was a birthday celebration and we were delighted with the delicious gluten free cake that they made for us. A fine meal and nothing was too much trouble.

We enjoyed a very nice afternoon tea as part of a group gift. The sandwiches were fresh and there was a good selection of cakes and pastries. The scones were also fresh and tasted home made. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Amazing fantastic staff! Lovely fresh taste sandwiches and the cakes were delicious especially the fluffy light scones they were fantastic. We went with the youngest 2 members of our family, a 2 year old and 5 week old both were on their very best behaviour and I'm know the 2 year old enjoyed everything he tried everything and eat 3 of some cakes he liked them that much. Thank you for everything team we really enjoyed and appreciated it.

We stayed here for two nights: the staff were fantastic, the food at the restaurant was superb. Great value for money rooms and walking distance to shops and pubs. Shout out to James who did an outstanding job all round especially handling our rowdy group with tact haha!

This is a really comfortable hotel with great breakfast & really helpful staff. The room we had was not huge but clean with a comfy bed & a well maintained en suite bathroom. It was a short walk into town - perfect to attend the event we were going to. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
