McDonald's in Wrexham

I like a cheeky McDonalds, but ordering and eating from this one makes me regret it every time. The standards have been on a downward slope for a while, the addition of home delivery has been the final straw for them. I highly recommend NOT ordering delivery from here, espcailly at peak times. When you see how long your food sits there, you'll thank me. Food can sit on metal shelving, no hot plate for a good 15minutes before the delivery guy has even arrived at the restaurant. Even opting to collect can have its pitfalls, there system of getting food prepared is all over the place. Collection orders get stuffed into bags by 5 different people and again left to sit on the side whilst one person has to give them all out. It's a gamble it's warm by the time you get it. Chips are always undercooked and burgers barely warm and stacked like the leaning tower of pisa. I'm shocked health and hygiene haven't shut them down yet or at least paid a visit.Maybe it's me and I just keep going at the wrong time of day, but like anywhere and anything I spend my money on, I expect to get what I'm advertised or at least a smile/hello from some of the staff that serve you. This is not to say all staff there are a couple that are always polite and friendly.

Excellent service by a lady called Jean. I come by everyday Friday with my little one and she always makes time to come and say hello. Such a lovely lady. I always find that tables are clean when she’s around. Thanks Jean

A little tired and need of a bit of renovation. Building is very confined, even more so since covid restrictions. Given the number of empty buildings within the town centre there must be more suitable larger premises that would be far better suited.Plus side of attending restaurant is that the food is relatively hot and any incorrect orders can be rectified, something which is impossible with the McDelivery or third party delivery companies.

Came in for a McDonald’s breakfast- didn’t have hash brown’s, so ended up paying more for less food! When questioned, the young lad said there’s nothing we can do about it… great customer service!

Always shy of sauce these days had a quarter pounder what a poor effort 🤨 I appreciate they'll never look like the ones on the pictures - they could at least put in the individual items that make this a quarter pounder

Really. Really poor. Service. And attitude from staff. 45 mins to be served with 3 meals. I asked to speak to manager . And got told not available because we are busy. Will not be using that branch again . Just to be ignored by your staff.really appalling. No stars from me on this occasion sorry.i have put 1 star otherwise will not post.

Managed to get car park space right outside which is very lucky. Ordered 4 people meals and drinks so had to make 2 journeys with food and drinks. Staff very busy but had no problems very well oiled machine

Would love to get my actual order when using the delivery service. Half the time it’s wrong or there’s some sort of issue. Though the rare time it is right it is nice🤷‍♀️

Well done to McDonald's Wrexham. My wife ordered a double HAMBURGER (No Cheese) through Just eat. As she is allergic to dairy. Even though it said on all the wrapping no cheese. Guess what they sent a double CHEESEBURGER. So congratulations to the clever person packing people's orders either can't read or can't be asked to get it right. So the burger went in the bin and all she had was the cold fries. And to make matters worse they now want pictures as proof. And we have to wait a week for a decision on a refund. So thanks to just eat and McDonald's Wrexham. And the just eat driver who was half way back to his car before we even opened the door. And virtually threw the bag at my wife. Won't be using either again.

Very busy, i mean it was absolutely packed, BUT they didn't make any mistakes in the order so well done! BUT, no parking, no drive through, toilets could be more clearly sign posted and it's upstairs which limits who can use them, inside, the tap didn't stay on long enough to wash my hands and the soap dispensers, only 1 was filled and the other didn't work properly. Quality of food was normal, price was a bit expensive but okay. But the water, was 2 pounds for a small bottle of water! 2 pounds! I could get a bottle 3 times bigger for 85p in asda! So that's a rip off. Overall, not a bad experience but will choose somewhere more convenient and better priced if i'm ever in the area again.
