Rafters Bar & Restaurant in Wrexham

We had been let down by a nearby restaurant and tried The Bank on spec. Hugely impressed, they were very accommodating and friendly; we had a very nice meal of very interesting tapas-style dishes accompanied with some very nice wine and cocktails. The fish dishes in particular were beautifully cooked. We will certainly be revisiting.

100% recommended. If you are in Wrexham, you must visit! I wish we came here earlier.We went on Thursday for early dinner and it wasn’t crazy busy.The welcoming and the staff was superb, they were also very attentive all the way through! And the food was top top top notch!If you are here go and try the baked Camembert! For us it was the best out of all the food , but everything else was amazing too. And Of course the cocktails were really good too!

Amazing food! Great service, every small plate we had was lovely & well presented. You need to get yourselves there if you haven’t been! Support local businesses especially during these hard times. We were the only ones in there tonight, as they’d had cancellations, so glad we went in!

Brilliant place with friendly staff and excellent food. We had the tapas and it was all lovely. We couldn't fault anything at all. Food was spot on and they had a great selection of drinks with an offer on cocktails too. Definitely worth a try. Will be back again and recommend to others.

This place is rated as #1 in Wrexham on TripAdvisor.I can see why it's so highly thought of. The lunch offer of 3 plates for £12 is a great value. I added cheesy garlic bread for £3.All the food came at once which is unusual for this style of food but that was fine by me. Staff were friendly and the setting is really characterful - I've nothing negative to say and will head back anytime I'm in the area

The food was delicious, we had lots of picky plates as we were a party of 7 and they were all amazing. Drinks were fab and so good for 2 for £12. Alex and the team looked after us so well, they couldn’t do enough for us! We’ll be back for sure.

Went last night and the food was amazing. Staff are friendly and can't do enough to help. Food was out if this works highly recommend the prawns and the goats cheese. Cocktails I had one to may amaretto sour is out of this world. Worth a visit.

Good food, good ambience, nice wine. Recommend the vegan platter if you're looking for something healthy and veggie.
