Squire Yorke in Wrexham

Great food, big portions with lots to choose from & friendly staff. Also very well priced! John (the chef) went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. Highly recommend!

The food is good. My only concern is the welfare of the staff. I've seen two of them fall over, once due to a very sloppy tiled floor (I nearly slipped too) the other tripped over a touched up carpet that has been like that for months, but management have not fixed it and don't appear to Cate about their staff's or customers safety.

We stopped for the first time( holiday) here for dinner. And everything was spot on: staff so polite and friendly, food was so tasted,large portion and dessert so delicious!! Well done all of you!! It's such a shame we live so far for you( Essex). 🤗

Really good food but as always with a carvery the gravy need to be a bit thicker. Service a little slow, no plates were cleared off tables after people had finished.

A nice little hidden place in Wrexham serving breakfast both large and small. Quality is amazing and much better than some of the other pubs you can go to. If you enjoy the carvery you will enjoy the breakfast.

Booked a table and upon entering the establishment was greeted by a staff member who looked stressed and didn't even offer a smile. Was then told to be prepared to wait for food and to order at the bar. Sat at the table and noticed a customer's face as her food was delivered, she did not look pleased. Should have seen this as an omen. Went to the bar to order meals and when I asked for fish and chips was told they did not have any. I realised that if they didn't have fish and chips there was very little hope of the beet kebab I was looking forward to! Walked out. Would not visit again!

Lovely food good portion but very busy and took a long time for food to arrive. However there were lots of large groups of people with birthdays so understandable. 13th January. Went for sons birthday also, only four of us one was a baby, they gave us a good table to sit at with lots of room. Very good!

This place is fabulous. Nice pleasant surroundings. Staff fab . Food is mega. Great choice and a carvery to boot. Prices reasonable . Especially the carvery. Well worth a visit !

Food was OK . Waitress said "be careful,the plates are very hot," I went to move it across in front of me and it was stone cold. As a result of this, the chips and peas were cold before we got halfway through the meal. The chicken was hot at first but was just warm enough at the end of the meal.I complained and we were given a sweet free, but this spoiled what should have been a pleasant experience.

Nice pub grub food. Friendly staff. Great menu selection. Downside the hand sanitizer I tried did not work.
