Called in for lunch today with my husband and our little dog Waffle, Mark and Shelly do a excellent job of making people welcome, Mark even made friends with our chihuahua, food was really good value for money, if we visit Chirk again we will definitely be back

Tried out the fantastic new gluten free menu today. I had homemade GF Lasagne with GF garlic bread. Several other options on the menu also, spoilt for choice 👏 well done Chelly and Mark, gorgeous

A great find this place, staff and owners really nice, welcoming and helpful. Turned up just as kitchen was closing however they were happy to sit me down and feed me a delicious chicken curry, rice and chips. Right tasty it was too. I highly recommend this pub.

Great Hydes pub in a small village. Is it Wales? Or England? It's border. But a good pub with good management. And good, simple food.
