The Crown Hotel in Wrexham

We chose to eat out at short notice, so we thought that we would eat local. We went to the Crown, we didn't book a table. we were greeted by Caitlin who was very polite and friendly and within seconds seated at a table. We ordered our drinks, starter and main meal. To be fair the service was reasonably quick considering the amount of people eating. As we went to pay we were asked if everything was OK. I replied that the steaks we had were the best we had had. Craig was training a new chef and it was the new chef that had done them. Absolutely brilliant work Craig for teaching the new guy. Highly recommend the Crown to everyone

From start to finish the service was really good. Our server Courtney was exceptional, she was very attentive and was always around if we required her help. The food and drink service was very fast and we had a lovely evening. Very good value for money, definitely recommend. Thanks again to Courtney for being a friendly character and making our experience more enjoyable.

It's good if there's 2 of you, apparently the two for one does not include children's meals, so when I took my daughter, who thoroughly enjoyed her food, I had to pay £17 for one meal (with a free desert instead as I was on my own) and then the child's meal too. Staff are brilliant, and food was delicious, it's a lovely pub, but don't get caught out with the two for one like I did, take a second adult!

From start to Finnish the service was really good. My son has alot of allergies and they were all over it with an allergy menu and very well informed about the menu. The food was nice and excellent portions. 3 mains, 3 drinks and a pudding for 40 quid so can't moan about that.

The staff are just the best here more than helpful and polite we had Courtney as our waitress and can’t fault her I had the mega mixed grill and wow was it mega stuffed couldn’t eat it all the food was lovely and hot just shame I couldn’t eat it all eyes bigger than my bellyKeep up the hard work staff

Lovely meal with the family. Staff very welcoming (especially Katie and Courtney) Great food. Lovely atmosphere and the place was clean. Will definitely return.

I had placed a booking and the staff immediately took us to our table and in fact gave us a choice as one of our party had a disability walker. We ordered drinks which were brought to us quickly and the staff allowed a good amount of time before taking our order. The meals arrived quickly considering the amount of people dining there last night. We were very pleased with the portion size and the presentation of the food. The staff were really attentive and nothing was too much trouble.After finishing our main meal we ordered desserts and coffee and were extremely pleased with the choices for both and they were brought to our table quickly. We were even more delighted with the bill and left a tip for the staff. Would definitely go again. Please pass on our best wishes to all the staff who served us last night and for making us feel so welcome. x

I was at The Crown with a couple of friends for a catch up over a meal.I received a warm and friendly welcome and was shown to our table.The Crown was reasonably busy, but the staff seemed relaxed and attentive.From ordering a first drink through to paying the bill we had a lovely evening.The Crown was warm and bright, food and wine very good, staff excellent.

Sophie was very friendly and helpful. She was brilliant with our eldest daughter who couldn't decide what dessert to choose so she helped with her decision! Would definitely attend again soon! 90214 code!

Friendly serviceGood honest and value for money food.Don't particularly like the fruit and other machines but not too obtrusive.My wife forgot to pick up her mobile phone when we left but the staff kindly rang me to tell us and kept it safe till we returned to collect it. Lovely customer service that!
