I was at The Crown with a couple of friends for a catch up over a meal.I received a warm and friendly welcome and was shown to our table.The Crown was reasonably busy, but the staff seemed relaxed and attentive.From ordering a first drink through to paying the bill we had a lovely evening.The Crown was warm and bright, food and wine very good, staff excellent.

Friendly serviceGood honest and value for money food.Don't particularly like the fruit and other machines but not too obtrusive.My wife forgot to pick up her mobile phone when we left but the staff kindly rang me to tell us and kept it safe till we returned to collect it. Lovely customer service that!

We booked for a family Birthday gathering. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, lovely helpful and very polite staff. We had a lovely evening, and as it’s our local we always try to support businesses.

On my own so two for one doesn't really work. Good value for two, but on your own it's expensive.So opted for a rump steak melt. Nice but at nearly £9 it doesn't represent value at all. It certainly isn't a " foot long " tasty but very small. So , with chips at £2.85 that's £11.40. Considering you could get a full meal for that in most places, hence the two stars. Otherwise it would have had a top rating had it of been bigger and more value for money.

Your typical country pub. Well maintained venue, quick service and tasty food. A bit on expensive side. Good stop for a lunch and drink after a walk in the Welsh countryside.

Absolutely amazing service today we booked for 16 people for my stepdaughters birthday, drinks arrived perfectly and our food was piping hot, cooked perfectly, service was second to none and the value was brilliant. Will definitely recommend to others and we will 100% be returning. Thank you for making our day even more enjoyable
