It's a Wetherspoons, you know what to expect, there's loads of choice and all at ridiculously low prices. Well worth a visit. Some people love it that much they are here before 7 AM. It's close proximity to the sorting office means it is also a firm favourite with postmen, I rarely go in without seeing at least one red uniform, and sometimes there's a whole fleet of them. I'm very glad about this as I wouldn't like my mail to be delivered by a postman who was a teetotaler!

Good breakfast. Standard Wetherspoon menu but some are better than others. This is a good one! Food arrived quickly, but was hot, tasted fresh, and was well cooked. Pub was generally tidy and the staff friendly. For once the toilets were on the same level too!

31st January evening. Arrived before my friends at 6.30. I'm quite middle aged so feeling a bit lost, very pleasant young lady prepped my table and asked if I needed anything. When I explained I was expecting a group of friends she organised a bigger table complete with cutlery and menus. They were late turning up so she went outside to look for them and offered me her phone if I needed to contact anyone. The atmosphere was lovely, the food enjoyable and good value but the real asset of this place is without doubt its bar and table staff who went out of their way to welcome us.

Bonus as the toilets aren’t up a mountain side! Drinks obviously well priced some lovely guest ales,staff pretty good too! Typical mix of people students and older people,nice atmosphere whilst on my visit.

Wetherspoon menu, spacious and vibrant when football matches are on. I visited to watch one match and had a great time along with my buddies.Quick service, pretty good prices, and well located

Brief trip into North Wales to find some furniture for the lad's flat in Chester and simply had to add this great place to my list of Spoons visited. Only a hundred or so down now but it is a good start.Usual combination of atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff, wide range of ales, lagers, wines, spirits and all the stuff you have to drink if you don't want to lose your license, and a great range of pub grub. On a busy night a large group of us went in. Only space for all of us was a booth. In the booth there was food everywhere with condiment smeared on the table, hidden under plates and menus. As it was packed and had no other space available for our number we cleaned it OURSELVES as best we could and then went about our night.Now I'm told by one of the people in our group on that night and who went in the other day that apparently 'We' trashed it. Well, 'I' wont be back. I may have had a few drinks but when I exited that night it was a lot cleaner than I went in.

Took ages to get served. They were resolving an issue with a house wine bottle special which took 4 of them to resolve. Ordered food and drink. Said it would take 20 mins but came in 10. Burger and chips were good. Drink spot on.
