This was our first proper can't be bothered let's go out for food. Just looking at the menu was organic. Proper pub fodder and the best value for money since lockdown began.Mega mixed grill you couldn't buy the meat raw for less than the plated up delight I had laid before me. It was a great meal to have. Coming back again just wish not so many puds are with ice cream. Just a personal thing though x

Had my brothers 15th birthday meal at nags a few days ago, the place has a lovely warm welcoming feeling as soon as you walk in. The staff are incredibly nice and polite and went to all ends to make sure my brother had a spectacular evening which it was! Food is amazing prices for the high quality standards of food presented… highly recommended for a quick bite or even for a event or gathering 🙂

Were there Saturday 12 march 2022, the food was much improved from our experience in October. It's a shame that the lite bites menu isn't available on a Saturday (menu states Monday to Friday) I've only given a 4 star review because the young lady who served us, although very polite twice came across me to serve my aunt. This is only a small niggle as I have done food service training.

The food and service was excellent. I also like how tables were reserved and it said the time it's reserved for and it was ok to sit their until that time, atmosphere was good, all round nice pub

On entry there was a welcoming greeting from staff, combined, with the warm temperature made us feel at home. The staff were very pleasant and efficient and popped back to check if we needed anything else. I consider this pub to have the best selection of beers in the county!

I was actually quite disappointed, I've always loved coming too the nags for food as it's usually very good food and friendly staff but last night was not so impressive. There was no rump steak fir my husband too have the mega mixed grill, my steak was over cooked and the staff weren't very friendly at all! They didn't even give us cutlery until I asked, after the food was put on the table. Really disappointing

Excellent adherence to current Covid rules for Wales. We were met at the door shown to our table ( which had just been wiped down with anti bacterial spray) Our drinks order was taken almost immediately & delivered to the table within minutes, and our food order request was taken a few mins later. The food was delightful ( Scampi was whole & not pre formed) and the root veg & mushroom pie was excellent. The staff checked with us on a regular basis & the tables were well spaced out - I honestly couldn't fault the service - Excellent value for money - and I can vouch for it being the best pint of draught Moretti in Wrexham! We've supported the Nags Head throughout the Pandemic when possible, and just want to thank the owners & all the staff for their hard work over the last 2 years - long live the Nags Head !!

Visited the nags head for their breakfast with Santa. It was excellent value for money and the staff made each child feel so special taking time to speak to every one.The kids loved the story from Santa and the snow outside. The landlord (reindeer) really made the event special. Will definitely be visiting again. Thanks Chris
