Lovely pub great atmosphere.

Not been here in years but been modernized very nicely. Visited to try the new pies and not disappointed and great they had a gluten free options

Very nice atmosphere and great selection of beers and a fairly big outside area, very clean and tidy traditional old style pub with friendly staff.

Being new to the area I came across the Plough. Friendly landlord, good cask ale and relaxed venue to watch EPL games. Easy parking also a bonus.

Nice village pub....with food offers on a Wednesday. You will see locals gathering for sport matches...or just to share a pint.Nothing out of the ordinary but a nice atmosphere.....locals are nice and welcoming....as the Welsh are...in generally

A nice pub,just had a facelift so looking good,very cosy seating,not a huge range of beers however,and the lager in particular can be a bit hit and miss at times,occasional entertainment,but not big on the food side.

Excellent food and service from the catering and bar staff. I took my daughter for a Sunday lunch we both only had the medium meal and struggled to eat it all, lovely tasty home made fresh vegetables and selection of them with lovely melt in the mouth roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. It was well worth driving a few mile from Chester to enjoy a Sunday afternoon food and company. I don't remember having room for dessert.

Though regulars at the pub we have not eaten there for some time. The new manager has had staffing problems beyond her control but things seem to be settling down now. We had a Sunday lunch for family of 10 and the chef Jodie and staff did us proud. Lovely meal and service. Jodie obviously takes great pride in her food and it shows. We will be back to eat there again and say to everyone in the village just give it a try.
