Fish and chips were lovely and good portion sizes but the service was not the best. I thought it might have been that I was not local to the area (I was asked to pay before given my food unlike the other customers in front of me) but it seems a few of the reviews state the same. Which is a shame as think of the extra customers a change in attertude would bring in.

In a conversation with a family member as too where they could recommend for fish and chips, they said, without question, The Trawler Fish Bar. Tried them tonight, and we are very fussy, but could find no fault whatsoever. Special request for very lightly battered fish perfectly cooked and great chips. Very reasonably priced also at £9 for 2 large fish and one large portion of chips. We will definitely be returning.

Waited 20 minutes in a queue of 6 for shocking customer service. The staff seemed miserable and were very unwelcoming. Hardly cracked a smile. Understandable if they've had a long day but it was not nice to be served with. Food wasn't the nicest. Can recommend gwersyllt fish bar though.
