Alternative take away in Allerdale

Nice pizza & chips when visiting Cockermouth. We ordered and collected in store, service was quick and they have a large menu to choose from.

Ordered xlarge chicken kebab cost £8.90 very small portion and really disappointing for the price, pita bread was going stale, salad wasnt fresh either, would not buy this again, regular size portion chips more like small as well,paid nearly £11.00 and cant afford to waste money like that..😕 will try to add photos if I can

Our group were all very happy with the food and service, all at a reasonable price. Would happily return.

Rest of the food was good but the lamb meat was stale and smelt.. couldn't eat after discovering the stale lamb.

Visited twice and had pizza both times. Very nice flavours and the bases are lovely and crispy!

If I could give minus 1 million stars I would. I ordered a take away. Waited over an hour for delivery. Rang the place and my god! The rudeness! I have never in all my life been spoken too with such a tone, what a nasty nasty person I ended up talking too. Apparently my take away was delivered to the reception where I was staying. I checked and they said it had not been. I rang the place back and was shouted at down the phone and said that they were busy and could not help me. They then hung up and did not answer my calls. I was nothing but polite but was treated like scum. £40 wasted and no food. Please think before ordering.

I don't particularly like to leave negative reviews unless I believe they're 110% deserved but we've just had a chicken parmo,ham & mushroom pizza and chips from alternative.There was very little chicken in the parmo,same with the cheese and sauce on top.The pizza was really poor,not even warm and very little topping.The less said about the overcooked buy cold chips the better

Absolutely dreadful service. Rude obnoxious man on the phone telling my wife her details were wrong in JustEat (checked and all were correct), saying the order was delivered to reception but we were waiting there for half an hour so our food had gone walkies? Terrible terrible terrible avoid like the plague if I could swear about this place on a Google review I would never stop!!!!! Not that they care anyway!!

Amazing pizzas to end a night on, good burgers, lots of mozzarella sticks to a portion, friendly staff, damn tasty food

Have always had their food and they never dissappoint me, my favourite has to be the BBQ Chicken Pizza. Its really tasty and the base is lovely and evenly cooked throughout. Their staff are really friendly and delivery service is fast. They even cater for people with Gluton free requirements and other options available too. Would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a local, fresh produce menu.
