Aspava Restaurant in Allerdale

Very good service. The food was ok. My husband had the Iskender Kabab and I had the Chicken Kavurma. They were ok.

Lovely food, lots of choice, friendly staff, quick service and very accommodating! However, it is a little pricey even given all of the above and I'm from a city!I had the chicken skewers and the apple tea!

Fantastic! We had a shared meal for 2. Everything was great but the meat was seasoned to perfection. Sweets were delicious also. Friendly service

Food was amazing. Portion sizes are huge! The best Mediterranean meal we’ve had (I even preferred their tzatziki and hummous to the stuff abroad!) Staff were all nice and polite. Toilets very clean. Definitely recommend and would come back for sure

Six of us were staying locally and Aspava was recommended to us. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant was busy and had a nice vibe to it. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Drinks and a sharing meze quickly arrived together with warm pitta bread and olives. We also had the lambs liver as a starter and all were delicious. Our mains were equally wonderful. The owner Mehmet came over to say hello too. All in all a lovely evening. I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Lovely meal last night for my husbands birthday. The staff are very welcoming and professional. The food was excellent. Best lamb chops I've had. Definately a must for anyone visiting Cockermouth.

Some of best food we ever had. Went twice while in Cockermouth. The cold meze with flatbread are perfect starters. Also had the courgette fritters and feta filo parcels. Amazing. Then onto the mains, if you aren't sure what to get then get the mixed kebab. The chicken and lamb are beautifully spiced and cooked, so tender. Would go back to Cockermouth just for Aspava.

We had such a great experience and a lovely evening thanks to the kind and polite staff and especially the great food they serve in this cosy and beautiful restaurant. The Turkish specific restaurant offers you a vast selection of dishes accompanied by a good variety of drinks which are the recepy of a great day or night out. The dishes we had were amazing and I'm sure all the other ones don't fall behind either, will definitely return to this place and recommend it to all my friends too! The prices are reflecting the quality and standards this place offer. Enjoy 👍🏻❤😉
