Extensive menu, really good food and friendly service. We visited on a quiet evening just after new year

Exactly what I had expected. Great burgers and French fries and excellent service. Nice menu and my Flat White was perfect! Give the place a shot.

Absolutely great restaurant. Nice retro tunes, comfortable space and air-conditioned nicely during one of the hottest day during our time in the lakes. Metro burger was one of the tastiest burgers I've ever had. Portion sizes were spot on and the price was very reasonable. Diane was great and the service overall was fantastic. Thoroughly deserved 5 stars and I rarely do reviews but this place really stood out to the three of us who ate there! :)

Didn't expect much from this place, however... If you're looking for a good burger - the burger I had was the best I've had in a long time and the fries were light and fluffy along with a good selection of beer. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend it.

Small but an authentic American diner in the middle of Lake District. Everything is American, rite from the menu to the bar to the music. Staff is polite and courteous. We tried the American take on Mexican cuisine , Nachos, enchiladas and Burgers. All the items were good in terms of plating and taste. Surely visit again.

Great service, food and drinks. I called in for a meal whilst cycling and was made to feel very welcome. I had a hot dog and fries followed by a large slice of apple pie: it was excellent!

Fantastic meals, generous portions, great flavour and reasonable price. Also have a nice selection of IPA beers to top it off.Went back twice in one week but yet to try a desert as we were so full after the mains.

Portions are very much plentiful, with a large starter being more than enough for a main between 2/3 people. Prices are very good for the quantity and quality. And there is a very nice, homely, 50's American theme. The only negative thing is the lack of usable table space in the downstairs dining area.

Excellent!!! Would recommend highly. Lovely decor and simple yet excellent food with bags of flavour. It was also a massive bonus that they welcome dogs as so many of the pubs and cafes that allow dogs have poor quality food. We live local so will definitely be back.
