Best coffee and cake in Cockermouth. Proper old fashioned tea room a proper treat.

Nice place. Cake was decent. The owner manager got annoyed with us for coming indoors to look at the cakes though, which was a bit weird. And sent us back outside!

Lovely cafe, sat outside in the sunshine. Staff were great attentive whilst not all over you. Service was quick and efficient. Great selection of cakes too.

Lovely coffee shop with smashing food lovely toastie on nice wholemeal bread. Delicious puds too. Worth a visit. We always visit wen we go to Cockermouth .

Enjoyed some excellent soup, pot of tea for two with extra hot water, cake and toasted teacake for just over 10 pounds. Lovely selection of home made food. Would definitely be back

Lovely lunch date here today! Fast and friendly service, and the food is delicious. I will definitely return.

Now, I’m sure that the food and drinks here are great, but not serving any food aside from cakes after three is very poor for a cafe. This alongside the very early four o’clock closing time means I couldn’t recommend it over other options in the area.

Great little cafe, not too expensive, had a jacket with tuna and salad and a latte, and it was lovely. Looks like they had some lovely cakes too, but didn't sample any of those. Lovely and polite staff, would recommend

This is an excellent place to have a sip of coffee, eat something fresh and well prepared, and for really good prices. Not to mention the staff who were very friendly and nice.
