Bryson's Tea Room & Craft Bakery in Allerdale

Went for lunch on Tuesday 5th July. Salad and sandwiches. Salad was soft and soggy, sandwiches were a large bun with a single wafer thin slice of ham in. My wife had a sandwich with beetroot listed but no beetroot was served. I brought all this to the attention of the staff. and they just shrugged it off. very poor overall. NOT recommended.

Delicious snack and Pete rated his cappuccino coffee very highly! Service was again excellent although they were short of staff. It was lovely and cosy against a drizzle and high wind outside. Our window view of the street added light and people watching fun!! Thanks for a great experience!

Visited just for a quick coffee and cake and it was good - really delicious little apple pie and quite generous size of americano for less than other places charge. It was very busy outside but there were some places inside. They also have a lots of in-store made / baked products: artisan breads, cookies, cakes and pies.

Lovely tearoom. Spoilt for choice with the beautiful selection of cakes etc. I ordered Welsh rarebit. Huge portion and it was delicious. Lots of stairs to get to the toilet but that's just a tiny downside and wouldn't stop me visiting again. Staff were attentive and friendly.

Lovely tea & coffee shop above bakery. Busy when we visited and a bit short staffed so not all tables available - hence 4 stars. However, good service a friendly team serving and the offerings were good once at a table.

Great offerings - home made pies, pastries, cakes. Everything looked delicious. Just so sorry to not have been hungry but the coffee was great!

Absolutely wonderful place! Bryson’s is charming and cozy, and does a wonderful full English breakfast for only £13 each. The interior itself is clean, and it was a perfect pick-me-up after a long drive the night before. They even have a lovely bakery downstairs, and I found the staff to be friendly and pleasant. I’d definitely recommend this place!

Lovely tea room with a big bakery below. A beautiful building with lots of history. We waited a little while for a seat which was fine and expected given current times and the food and drinks were lovely very filling and reasonably priced. Only reason not a 5 as service was a little slower than we like - that being said the ladies working there are super polite and helpful so all in all pretty good
