Lovely place to eat very nice staff and food good dog friendly

I visited today with family and young children . It’s a very welcoming place to eat with plenty of space that gives you privacy due to the nature of the indoor seating . We were overwhelmed with the kindness and grace of the staff and reminisced that although we live locally we had never visited Cafe Hope until today . We are now planning our next trip - the menu showcases simple yet wholesome food and portion sizes are perfect - not too much and not too little . Café Hope is a true gem hiding in plain sight . ☕️ 🥪 🍰

Popped in after walking around Derwentwater and we had a beautiful jacket potato with cheese and hot drinks. Certainly value for money, excellent and friendly service. Will be calling in next time we are here. Well done everyone.

Nice little clean and friendly Cafe. Nice Coffee and great selection of food. Friendly and helpful staff and some amazing looking food and cakes. Nice big windows for gazing out on to the park. Dog friendly.

Just eaten at Cafe Hope. My husband had the Christmas dinner topped fries and I had the Turkey toastie. Both meals were absolutely delicious, the toastie is the nicest toastie I've ever had. They also have a little menu for our four legged friends and it's dog friendly inside.Service is friendly and very efficient. We'll definitely be back and can't recommend highly enough.

The 2 stars are for the service. The young girls serving were friendly at helpful. We have been to the cafe many times in the past and have always been really happy with the food. Today however we were disappointed. I paid £7.50 for a tiny slice of quiche which had been microwaved so it was all soggy. It came with a tiny amount of salad and nothing else. Definitely not worth the money. It’s a real shame, it was our go to place when visiting Keswick, but unfortunately we won’t be back

The food was over cooked but was very pleased scenery watching the golf and other views while eating a toasted tea cake. coffee was lovely and definitely have again.

Pretty Busy Cafe, maybe because of School Holidays. The food is lovely and the coffee is Great! Almond and Oat milk alternatives available!!

Great food - lovely range of cakes. Something to suit all tastes. Friendly, polite staff. Currently operating under Covid regulations. Have a scanning system in place for online ordering direct to your table. For those not technically confident there is a paper based system in place. Offers indoor and outdoor seating.

Lovely stop after a long hike, the views over Hope park are an added bonus. Welcoming staff and a fairly good selection of treats (including doggie ones). We enjoyed mocha & cappuccino for hot drinks (plant based milks available and that was a thumbs up for us) and toasted tea cakes with jam as a sweet treat.
