Catch Fish n Chips in Allerdale

Been a customer a long time. Recently all the takeaway orders have been wrong. Today, no chips, and a stale roll. Last time, no fish. The manager simply told me to take it up with Uber, generally seemed disinterested and asked me to try again in 2 months in the hope it would be better. When your prices are rising steeply and demand is dropping, shouldn’t you do all you can to retain customers?

Had a lovely couple of days visit in Leeds. These were the best fish, chips and mushy peas ever. Not like anything I've had in London. Really tasty more quality than quantity. Lovely batter, chips like home made. 😋

Best chippy so far! 😍 Great for collection and takeaways. We had a fab meal in the restaurant, very nice and clean inside. Lady who took care of us was amazing, credit to her! 😍 Food just perfection, so fresh and delicious 😋Well done guys ❤️

The restaurant looks good, attractive and well maintained. The menu is limited for a seafood place, but still has a good variety. The attention was very good, but the food lacked flavour in some cases and was too salty on others. Prices are ok but in my opinion the starters are small for the price. Maybe I should have gone for just fish and chips

Personal preference this but I found the batter too salty, and the fish wasn't great. Chips were faultless! No complaints in any other respect, staff were very friendly, served really quickly in spite of queue. Freshly made. Take out very well presented in boxes and paper bag. I don't rule out going back as it is handy for Cottage Road cinema. Customer parking and indoor seating available. I remember it as Bryan's, of course!

Consistently good meals from Catch. Have eaten in the restaurant three times now, and each time the food has been excellent.The fish and chips are delicious. Both takeaway and restaurant portions are great. Crispy batter, fresh flaky fish and tasty chips!

Great seafood restaurant! Had a meal with my wife here .. Both really enjoyed it. Parkingus right beside the restaurant. Service is great overall highly recommend

Great fish and chips with very friendly staff. I happened to pick a day and time when it was empty so service was quick and no problems. Food quality was spot on. I ordered from the festive menu and got a prawn cocktail, then fish and chips and a coke for just shy of £25. Not bad at all for a fish restaurant. They had plenty of choice from just fish and chips too.The staff were lovely and pleasant and happy to have a natter and fetch anything you need.One star lost for the parking situation as it's a paid car park, however it is waived if you enter your reg inside the restaurant, but it'd be great to know this before you leave the car, pay and then get inside. Also the food had a tad too much grease but it didn't spoil it. Overall was great and will be back to try more in the future 👍

Very good fish and chips. While the portion sizes are not massive it was perfect for lunch. The quality and taste was second to none. Friendly and attentive staff and a nicely designed dining area. There is parking on the opposite side of the road. I just wish we had such a nice chipshop closer to home.
