Very accommodating restaurant. Staff are friendly, food is great, prices are good. Definitely recommended. We had a larger than normal table booked (15 of us). The Courtyard had arranged two tables to give us the option of dining outside or inside which I thought was very thoughtful and much appreciated given the ever changing weather. We pre-ordered our meals, which came out quickly and hot on the day. Great work by the kitchen and restaurant staff.I advise anyone booking large numbers to get in touch with The Courtyard via phone or email to discuss menu options and seating arrangement.Just to note, anyone wishing to dine outside, there is now a wooden shelter which can house quite a few tables. Google Maps images do not show it yet. Also worth noting they are dog friendly so long as you're happy to sit outside. Again, there's plenty of shelter on offer so shouldn't be an issue during warmer periods.Thank you to all the staff at The Courtyard.

Delicious as usual. The perfect place to relax after our 9.5 mile walk along the river.

Often drop in for lunch. Lovely place very comfortable and if you have a dog with you then no problems as they are permitted. Choice to sit inside or out, and food is always very quickly served up and is of really good standard, and the coffee is superb. Staff always very friendly too.

Ordered steak and chips. The stake was awful could not eat complained and was not offered another steak or another option from the menu only said that they would take it off my bill so left as hungry as I arrived! Son had no issues with his burger and chips.

Visited for lunch with friends after a morning hike round and up Kenmore Hill. Will all had the Steak Sandwich, which was excellent, with the steak on each cooked to each individual's taste.Leather sofas were lovely and comfortable and along with the open wood fire resulted in a restful and very pleasant visit. Service was first class.

lovely interior, kind polite staff. meals are well presented and are brought out fast but aren't of amazing quality. i didn't mind at all. lovely place to sit during the day or at night

Staff were lovely and the food and drinks of a high standard. The open fire smoked the area out a little bit but was probably just wet wood used. Was dog and child friendly. Wide array of alcohols available.

Visiting today for the first time, chips and coffee good but service disappointing. Two young served me;one pleasant but the other seemed put out( perhaps that I was eating alone? Not spending more? I don't know?)just had the impression I wasn't the kind of customer she expected. As I left I wondered if it was only open to visitors staying on sitebut I wasn't asked and I checked the sign outside;and it said; " Visitors welcome".Disappointing.But thanks for the toilet stop and comfy settee.

Brilliant night out for birthday celebrations.... new management team have worked wonders and along with their team, have made The Courtyard much better, from start to finish the service was 5* and they could not done enough for us.... Food and drink service was fast but not rushed. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will be back again and again.
