Flock Inn cafe & tea shop in Allerdale

We visited The Flock Inn Tearoom while hiking in the Lake District to grab some brunch. The tearoom was such a gem to find - super friendly service, the cheese and ham toasties we got were absolutely delicious, the coffee was great and the cakes were also very tasty (we tried the millionaires shortcake and the paradise slice - would absolutely recommend both)To top off the whole experience, we had a stunning view sat outside; amongst the hills and fields we watched the ducks, sheep and various birds playing around. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely be returning here. A must-visit for anyone hiking through Rothwaite.Thank you Flock Inn Tearoom! 🐑

There aren't enough if these sort of places, fabulous food served with such passion and care, Simply wonderful.

Stopped for a quick pit stop, nice coffee and toasted tea cake, quite a quaint little place, staff seemed very pleasant only thing that stopped 5 stars was slightly over priced

We love their Hardwick pasties. Great location and views. Get there early as the pasties run out as everyone wants them.

Nice little place for a stop and great after a quick trot up to Castle Crag. Also has a great view from the outdoor seating area while enjoying a coffee and sandwich

What a beautiful little tea room! A really short walk from the national trust car park with plenty of outdoor seating (some under cover) overlooking fields of sheep and lambs. The service was very friendly with lattes, teas and coffees well made and a delicious slice of coffee and walnut cake to accompany a lamb pasty. Highly recommend this lovely little spot, especially if you're walking towards Millican Dalton's cave or in the opposite direction to Black Moss Pot. It is a popular spot but a perfect end to a walk or swim nearby!

Little tea room with outside seating area (some sheltered for rainy days) with amazing views. Great stop after walking in the fells. Cash only.

ouring through Borrowdale we stopped off for an afternoon refreshment, the first cappuccino was quite bitter, the staff explained that they were having some trouble with the machine and the replacement cappuccino was alright. I have been here a few times now and it never disappoints, great lunch in a really picturesque setting.

Not Perfect but quite good. Special taste on the scones and a bit “hard” chocolate cake. On the plus side is the outdoor facilities.
