Greenhill Hotel Restaurant in Allerdale

Absolutly amazing. The best time was had by all friends and family for my sons wedding. Its like one big happy family. So so friendly. I loved every minute of my stay. Thankyou so so much to everyone. X

We had a lovely one night stay at Greenhill. The hotel is dog friendly. The food was very good both dinner and breakfast. Hazel and the other waitresses (didn’t catch their names) were very attentive and friendly particularly at breakfast time. Thank you for making us and our dog so welcome.

Beautiful place, Beautiful room. Staff excellent. Rattling sash window a problem till a magazine I stuffed in solved it. Big negative no eggs for breakfast!!. Moving on we will definitely return.

We booked a table at short notice as other restaurants were closed for a meal on our friends birthday, and we all agreed it was probably THE best best meal we have ever had the food was perfect the service and hospitality was second to none I can't rate this place highly enough , 10/10

Christmas Party night out.....the cost was £35 per person which I think was fair for a drink and canapes on arrival, main course, lovely roast turkey with all the trimmings and pudding, mine was sticky toffee pudding which was scrumptious, followed by tea or coffee with mints. Music and entertainment was provided with plenty of people taking to the dance floor. Really enjoyable evening would definitely consider as our Christmas Party night out for next year if available.

We were a party of 13. The food was nice but the service was very poor. We had to ask for napkins, water jugs and glasses. One of our party waited 20 minutes for drinks from the bar. 12 of us had turkey and we were not offered any cranberry sauce. We had to constantly ask the 2 members of staff to take away glasses and crockery. One of our party had to go look for a member of staff and ask if we could have our coffee and mince pies.At no time did any staff member ask if everything was OK and no-one thanked us for our custom as we were leaving.Would not recommend and would not return.

Great places. Had a fab time at the christmas party night. Food was lovely and still hot, serving the food was done swiftly and with no fuss. Band was great too. Well done to Wayne, and team.

My sister, parents and I called for lunch. The staff were wonderful (Elliott and Pauline). The food was really nice. My dad loved his fish and chips. Nothing was too much trouble.

We celebrated our daughters wedding at Greenhill on Saturday and what a fantastic party we had. We were so well looked after through all the planning and the service on the day was excellent . I cannot fault the staff and venue thank you so much 😀
