Good staff, great service, and tasty food.Review update one year later... Love this place when it's quiet on a Sunday evening. Thanks to the staff for making such a nice environment 🙂 I should of said lovely staff, not good staff. Thanks guys

The table was filthy and we had to clean it ourselves. If we weren't so hungry we would have gone elsewhere. Does Wetherspoons not realise covid is still around. Very disappointed.

Went to Wetherspoon for a coffee to catch up with friends. Nice big pub with plenty of space. Staff very friendly and location is perfect. Pretty much in city centre.

No room at peak times. 6 pm had to wait aro8nd 10 mins for someone to leave their table . To be fair I did read a review saying between 5 and 8 on curry night u would struggle to get a table. Not a big place .

Use weatherspoons fairly regularly, albeit not this particular one. I order what I usually order and it took forever to come, and I had about half the serving size I normally get from my usual wetherspoons, and the poached egg was solid may as well have gave me a hard boiled egg. Due to technical issuss there was also no fried eggs, how? The tables were dirty, ours had ring marks on that were dried, I suspect from the Friday night the night before. Either way, it had not been cleaned. Bit grotty overall. Only reason it's not getting a 1 star is becuase the food actually tasted alright.

Good beer well kept. Menu is a bit thin but perhaps due to the rona. Can't get pie and chips. You wouldn't want to eat here every day. Good and ever changing variety of hand pulled beers.

I had a mixed grill enjoyed every bite very busy with a pleasant atmosphere, place itself is nice and big took a long time for the staff to clear our table from previous customers so had to do it ourselves after asking four times as our food started to arrive with nowhere to put it , only let down of our experience.

4 of us went in for breakfast. Staff very friendly and food arrived promptly cooked to perfection. I do wish Wetherspoons would get faster coffee machines or provide a separate source of hot water for us tea drinkers!

Very typical spoons cheap pint at 2.50 on carlsberg, had 10oz rump with chips was OK steak good I think I could have done with at least 1 side though, still good value with a pint under 10quid

A very depressing dark pub with little space between seating and jumbled walk ways . I witnessed people walk in turn around and head back out. I stuck it only because there was nothing else about 8n an ale wilderness aka Workington
