Lovely pub great atmosphere and food - went out of their way to cater to my very particular dietary requirements at the time, fed my sister til she couldn't eat any more (no mean feat) and provided an unasked-for pint of water whilst I was breastfeeding. Absolute angels.

I had Scampi and chips, wife had a full Sunday roast - "beef and all the trimmings". Wife says that's one of the best roasts she's ever had. Scampi was spot on. We got a syrup sponge and a Blueberry blondie for pud, again they hit the spot. If we're back this way, Defo going again! 😁

Absolutely delicious food. Staff were so helpful and friendly, and it's even dog friendly so our labrador didn't have to miss out!

Warm friendly welcome from landlord & landlady, excellent food, fabulous service in clean, relaxed & happy atmosphere great value for money. Highly recommend.

Stopped today for lunch, last minute but fitted us in. Warm and welcoming and food was absolutely delicious and homemade. The raspberry pavlova was the best I have eaten when out!! Reasonably priced and highly recommended

Friendly country pub with good (and local) real ale on tap. Not tried the food yet but hope to soon. As a tourist passing by I liked it and drink prices were as cheap as "Club" prices in Scotland.
