Absolutely fabulous break. Beautiful lodges. Really private. Best ones we've ever been to. Amazing service from all the friendly staff. Lovely breakfasts, very accomodating to our son's eating issues. Couldn't have asked for more. We'll definitely be back.

Found this beautiful place whilst looking for somewhere for lunch. Have to say this is one of the best places I have eaten and is an absolute gem. The prices are reasonable and yet the food is absolutely beautiful - locally sourced and fresh food cooked to perfection. The staff are so pleasant and helpful, making the experience extremely worthy of note. When back in the Lakes would certainly travel any distance to visit here again.A fantastic experience all round.

The lodges are absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Darwin for 4 nights and it had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay plus the added luxuries of a hot tub, steam room and sauna. There is an on-site restaurant and takeaway service which is open Wednesday to Sunday. We ordered the takeaway one night and ate in the restaurant twice. All the food was lovely and the service was very good. Finally there is a butchers shop which has just opened. This is very handy for essentials whilst staying on the park but also had a good selection of meats and fresh veg.

The property was clean, modern and spacious. I liked the log burner too.Nice use of lights especially under shelving and cupboards etcAbove all it was quiet and peaceful! The lodges are well spaced apart with good screening in between to enhance privacy.

stunning lodges on a quiet holiday park. On site, 9 hole public golf course. On site restaurant good but limited opening, weds-Sun and they do lodge deliveries. Great farm shop/butcher's on site. Amazing place to relax and chill out. 2nd time here and will definitely be back again in future.

We have just come back from a lovely 4 day break here and it was absolutely beautiful , we stayed in the Wellington, the cabins were just absolutely gorgeous and sooo private šŸ˜ the hot tub was just to die for. The cabin catered for absolutely everything you could possibly want or need ! When we arrived we had some lovely welcome gifts such as shortbread, hot chocolate, milk, butter, bread, jams. It was sooo clean and the beds were unbelievably comfortable, the decor in the cabin was divine! The en-suite and main bathroom were totally dreamy! There were a couple of reasons why I’ve not marked it 5*. 1. was because of the check in time being 5pm, in winter is awful, far too late because it’s dark at that time and the postcode takes you directly to someone’s garden, we ended up turning round in their garden, so it really wasn’t easy to find in the dark so we only got there (found it) at 6pm so we hadn’t much of a night, not only that, by the time we eventually arrived we were so stressed through getting lost with our 4 month old baby in the car who was also due for feeding at 5. 2. A couple of maintenance issues in the cabin, one of which meant every time we came back from the hot tub it woke our sleeping baby. 3. On the first night the handle to the hot tub snapped when we were just looking at the tub, so that ruined our first night and following day until I found out they were aware it was bad and they were waiting on a new cover but I was panicking thinking I was going to be charged for it and I’m currently on maternity so really couldn’t afford anything like that to happen. Maybe we should have been made aware you were waiting for a new cover so if anything did happen like it did we would have known not to worry. Although the above was frustrating it wasn’t enough to stop us staying here again. If we were going to look at staying in the Lakes again we would definitely be booking here. It’s one of the nicest cabins we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you so much xx

My regular place for Sunday Lunch. The Christmas Dinners were delicious. I visited the Butchers Shop and got the Chicken I had ordered. It cooked beautifully. Looking forward to it reopening after Christmas.

More photos to follow, but by far the best log cabin we have ever been to. Not just because of the wintery weather we got.. but the layout of the cabins and the site. All the staff are incredibly kind as well. Definitely going to be coming back

šŸ’— My Happy Place šŸ’—Brayton Park is perfect for a relaxing break in stunning surroundings, whatever the weather! We've stayed in a Darwin Retreat Lodge, in Summer and Winter...both fantastic!...Sunbathing on the loungers drinking Prosecco, al fresco dining, admiring the pretty views outdoors, in August.....And in December....relaxing in the amazing covered hot tub with ambient led lights, beautiful sauna, and watching the huge tv, snuggled on the sofa, wood crackling in the log burner. They even had Christmas lights outdoors, a Christmas tree in the lounge, and tasteful decorations, which all added to the ambience! The immaculate lodges are all extremely private, have beautiful views, well equipped, and have everything you could need, with so many thoughtful extras too.The on-site restaurant is brilliant, offering a tasty menu, local produce, and they offer lodge deliveries too. But the restaurant is closed on a Mon and Tues. They do however offer breakfast coffee and pastries each day. There is golf available onsite too.Staff are very pleasant and helpful.I give Brayton Park 5*****Something to look into for the future...onsite EV charging.
