LB's Pizza House in Allerdale

What an absolute find! Quite basic looking from the outside but the pizza was stunning and blew away all expectations. We ordered the fan favourite - nduja and buratta. Excellent thin and crusty sourdough base perfectly cooked and the ingredients were fresh and high quality.

Really good 👍 the pizzas are proper Italian 😁 and the staff are very friendly and helpfulIf you want chips or other side's or others you will be disappointed as they only have pizza and garlic bread on the menu but they are really good and they do 9" and 12" pizzas and garlic breadRecommended 👍

Parking was very easy outside the restaurant. After 19:00 it only costs £1.We arrived at the restaurant and it wasn't busy but the waiter took a good 10 minutes to come to our table to take order.We then waited at least another 25 minutes for our food... Service was really poor after waiting so long to order and waiting ages for food.. There was only two other tables that had paying customers so it wasn't busy...Small things like the candles weren't lit. Really could have made the mood better. Small things matterNow the food. Food was great.Dough was made fresh which is very good. We ordered the chunky chips on the side and they were so yummy! Overall a pleasant evening. Just the service needs improvement.

All enjoyed our pizzas, veggie and vegan option. Served quickly and by friendly staff, would go again. Only didn't give 5 stars as felt there could be more than the one vegan option as three tables asked for vegan option tonight whilst we were there but nice to see the option nevertheless.

Ended up here last night as everywhere else in Keswick was heaving.I am so glad we did. Beautiful pizza’s, excellent price and very happy and helpful staff!I feel this is a real hidden gem down a side street!Keep up the good work and we will be coming back soon!

Correctly cooked pasta, tasty sauce and lovely pizza dough. Well done Chefs !! Bravissimo! Unfortunately the olives on order never came to our table. The coffee, definitely not up to standard. But at the end of the day we seat to eat and food it's their strength...

Food was brilliant but we had to leave it as a member of staff decided to disinfect the bar area close to our table . Our eyes were streaming and it totally spoiled our evening the food was quickly tainted no proper apology was offered. The restaurant was quiet and an early finish seemed to be the target. Not good !

Didn't eat here. So my review is not about the food. Arrived here at 11:55. It opens at 12:00. They wouldn't let us sit down.They didn't even say take a seat we'll be with you in 5 minutes. They lost 2 customers because we went elsewhere.Just got a message from the owner. Still has the same attitude that we encountered on the day we went for a pizza. Not a chance of showing this place any of my money,

LB's pizza is clean enough and presented well enough. The problem is the food.We went to LB's a few months ago I had the carbonara and my kids and partner had pizza. The food was ok but the pasta I had was a very small portion.This time the carbonara was again in a very small portion but very very bland. All that my partner and I could taste was the cream used no garlic and no herbs just cream and the pasta was very over cooked.We sent this back and asked for a pizza I stead. This came along and although better than the pasta it had a pitiful amount of toppings on it, also they fell off everytime it was picked up to eat.Service was ok. Even though we had our 10yr old and an 18month old baby we were not offered a kids menu and had to find find one and no offer of a high chair again had to go searching.For the price you are charged for the food and drinks (of which I ha e no problem paying if the food and service are good) i would expect a higher level of service and a higher quality of food.In summary I'd say to give it a go, but please keep in mind what I've mentioned in this review.A note to LB's would be either up your game or adjust your pricing to reflect what you offer.

Disgusting service ordered our main half of the main didn't come until we had finished our pizzas!!! Asked for a dessert menu and they didn't bring it asked at 7:00pm and still waiting which is awful service.... sat with empty glasses you would of thought they would of asked if we would like more drinks..... as for my parents have been here before and enjoyed it and they recommend it for the second time, and this time was absolutely dreadful will not be recommending to anyone else !!!!!!
