Lodore Falls Lake View Restaurant in Allerdale

Stayed in the Lodore Suite over the Easter bank holiday. The room was incredible, the spa access was amazing, both the restaurants had lovely food and the grounds and scenery beautiful with it's own waterfall. Although it wasn't cheap it was certainly worth the money for the relaxing time we had

Amazing experience. The spa is phenomenal and we will be back. The only thing that let the whole stay down was the Mizu Pan Asian. Portions leave a lot to be desired for the price and the staff were okay but could have been a lot better and quicker.

Wow! What an amazing place. Felt like I was in America or Canada. Excellent location just across the road from the lake with a river running through. Cute bridges across the river and a lovely waterfall can be seen here too. Lots of people enjoying the hot tub and taking in the views. The restaurant looked lovely and the staff there were friendly and helpful. Would love to stay here and enjoy the facilities.

Was there today for a wedding and the place is beautiful, can understand the appeal for the venue and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. No complaints on the food, service and the fact the hotels ' compare ' for a better word got everyone in the spirit of the day. It's that good we are all coming back for a meal in the week

Went in for a bowl of vegetable broth on 12/01/22 at 13.00 hrs. Unfortunately it took so long to arrive and when it finally arrived it was way too salty. I informed the waiter Martin (he told me specifically that he is Polish) about the salt in the soup. Martin was very very helpful and kind all the way. He had excellent customer service. Just want to say a huge thank you Martin.

Visited the Mizu restaurant for a birthday meal and it was out of this world amazing. It wasn't cheap, but the quality of the food was fantastic, the setting was open and peaceful and the service was great. I photographed the starters and fully intended to photo the mains but when they arrived I was too distracted by how good they looked and smelt and was half way through eating when I remembered. I would 100% recommend this place and I will be defiantly coming back

Me and my wife spent new year here in 2021. We absolutely loved it, people, food and entertainment was all fantastic, and, obviously, the views and walks. Would highly recommend this place for new year break (if you can get in as it gets booked up quickly), or any time.......

Absolutely a surreal experience, the property is extremely wonderful. The spa suite is what makes this really good. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, I was unable to get any treatments booked as they were full. However i do recommend the Spa Suite itself as an excellent experience. The hotel room is quite spacious and well designed with a very comfy bed. The only thing which wasn't top tier was the food, which i felt was just average. Hence the 4 stars

We booked this hotel after walking out of the one we originally booked due to its poor standard. Looked on the reviews and was some what hesitant to book as the room we were looking at booking was one of the most expensive. Well glad we did, friendly staff that nothing was too much effort, warm comfortable and looked amazing with all the Christmas decorations, they had truly gone to town with them, STUNNING. We booked in for dinner and again was not disappointed, the food was excellent. I will admit the it was not a cheap stay, however on reflection to the hotel we walked out of it reflected good value for money. You are paying for the location without a doubt so if you are looking for a cheap gateway, do not look at the Lakes thinking that £200 per night is expensive. However this hotel does offer for most budgets and if you are looking for luxury then look no further spend the money and go for a suit, all the room you need and more and beautifully laid out.We had a Premium Suit in the new wing and it was fantastic, no one could be disappointed in the standard of this room, stunning views of the lake with its corner window. My only disappointment was we were unable to use the Spa, however that wasn't a hotel issue, we hadn't planned to stay there and didn't have swimming costumes with us, we will next time though, already looking at planning our next trip.See you all soon and keep up the great work on delivering an experience not to forget.

Absolutely the best experience for our Wedding weekend. The wedding planners and hotel staff could not do enough to make sure all went to plan and we were looked after from start to finish. Thank you to them all. The hotel is huge and stunning and has a bit of something for everyone. The restaurant and bar food were all very enjoyable and the breakfast delightful. Our wedding breakfast was spot on and served perfectly. We were lucky enough to hold the ceremony outside which was a dream come true. The gardens and views are breathtaking. We finished off in the spa taking in a fantastic weekend relaxing in the heated outdoor pool watching the world go by. A special mention to Kim, Kelly, Craig and the lovely lady with the purple in her hair. Absolutely outstanding service and gave us everything they had in making our day so special.
