Thank you so much for saving the day.after travelling 2.5 hours from wigan to play silloth only to be told the course is closed! We came along the coast to an hidden gem maryport, where a kind member signed us in and allowed us to play. Even though it was very windy and very challenging all 3 off us enjoyed a great round of links golf ,which was new to us all , brilliant . Thanks again garry ian and stuart.

Fantastic Italian evening. Cheerful and efficient staff, lovely food and relaxed atmosphere.

Called here whilst out walking for some liquid refreshments and couldn't resist the smell of food, ordered 2 main meals from the Sunday menu, Steak and Guinness pie and Cumberland sausage both excellent but best were the proper chips made with real potatoes and deep fried, absolutely divine 😋😋😋

The first 3 holes run next to the sea with the road close by on the other side with long distancesè views along the coast before crossing the road to play the 4th with a high bank of gorse on the left and the road on the right. A straight hit is required here ! After the par 3 5th the course turns inland where it becomes an undulating parkland. The 15th takes you back to the road which is crossed to play the last 3 holes and a refreshing drink in the clubhouse. It was a hot sunny day in September when we played and the wind wasn't blowing. I would class this as a hidden Gem and well worth playing. Don't drive past in the rush to play Silloth.

Great service staff very helpful and polite comfortable seating area great choice of free drinks

I'm a member here. Interesting course with 9 links holes and 9 parkland. Some challenging drives including 4th (oob both sides), 6th (fairway slopes down to water hazard on R) and 14th (blind drive over bank to elevated fairway). Tough par 3 17th. Wind mostly blows off the sea. Green fees a bargain at £20 and membership cheap. Rarely busy, especially in the week.

So friendly. Very welcoming. Lovely clubhouse. Good mix of links and countryside golf.

Nice and friendly. Enjoyed a pint looking over the golf course. Rigorous sanitation system, and social distancing in place. Thank you x

Lovely course with great views, half links and half parkland. Nice clubhouse and a warm welcome. Wouldn't hesitate to play again.
