Fantastic place! Lovely homemade baking and licensed, so something for everyone 😋🎂🍷 Friendly service too, would definitely recommend 🌟

Very clean with good quality food and good service. Menu limited but good quality and quantity. The food I had could have been hotter but was fine. Nice cakes also served.

Very bad experience unfortunately. Looking at the menu, it looked very promising and we were looking forward to having lunch. After we ordered two tables got their food before us, even though they arrived after I ordered. We ordered sandwiches, chips and a tea cake, which shouldn’t take the 45 minutes it did. When it did come out, the chips weren’t even ready yet. When the waitress brought one portion of chips, she asked if we would like anything else. I politely told her we’re expecting two other portions of chips, which to my surprise, she rolled her eyes and clearly angrily walked away.Once everything had arrived, we were a bit disappointed with the quality. The ‘mozzarella’ in one of the sandwiches was orange. Now I’m no cheese connoisseur, but I’m not sure mozzarella is that colour. The ‘cheddar’ cheese on the chips was also the exact same bright orange. Hmm… At the bottom of one of the chips was also about a few tablespoons of oil, which meant we couldn’t actually finish it.There was one waitress, of the three that served us who actually apologised for the wait, other than her we felt very unwelcome.

Mrs Wilson's is under new ownership since we last visited. The food we had was lovely, but unfortunately no-one mentioned the specials when they took our orders. We only noticed the boards advertising them on our way out as they were in the hall! Can recommend the Chiabattas and the chips with chilli, very nice!

Nice coffee shop. Friendly staff and pleasant ambience. We had cooked breakfasts for brunch and enjoyed them. Also popped back for coffee and cake in the afternoon, and that was good too!

Lovely place. We had fish and chips, very good. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Great job on bringing the building back to life, some Victorian seaside glamour.

The service was good and the feel of the place was homely. Our family ordered a Caesar salad which was just mixed leaves with Caesar dressing and pieces of chicken with no cheese at all. Also, we ordered the buffalo chicken. We were greatly disappointed because it was so spicy that it was practically inedible. We could not even eat it. There was some cheesey cream thing on top that we could eat it with but not enough for the level of sauce that was on it. It would have been nice if the cream sauce would have come on the side instead of on top of the dish and the actual buffalo sauce. I would not recommend this food but the drinks were fine , just normal.

Lovely coffee house and eatery. Popped in for coffee and ice cream and there were plenty of people dining. Staff very helpful and would definitely pop in for food next time. Spotlessly clean and really nice feel.Lots of space for dining and takeaway service for coffee and ice cream.Located on the corner opposite green and on same row as ice cream parlour.
