Sam's Takeaway in Allerdale

Got number 1 deal last night. Collected but don't take visa debit. "Go to co-op and get money out". Meat feast 12 " tasteless. Garlic bread awful and partially burnt.Frozen chips,warm and like cardboard. Salad not bad. Dip not bad.

Ordered a large chicken shish and chips total cost of £17 . When I got home to eat it I found they gave me chicken and lamb kebab my partner tried the lamb she was unable to chew it the chicken had a strange after taste and the chips were black and burnt. All went straight in the bin.

Food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful definitely be going again 😃

This was far better than we expected and great value. We would recommend for the pizzas. Can't pass comment on the other food in offer. Seemed very popular with locals which is always promising.

Being here in holiday we were looking forward to a decent takeaway. From ordering it took just over 2 hours to arrive and with follow up calls we were told by the owner that he was "doing us a favour by delivering it" and "the driver will be there any minute". Would have expected a discount but never mind.. I have to say though, dispite the disappointingly long wait the food was very tasty.. Just way too late.
