"Small cafe built within an old orangery in the grounds of Oakhurst Garden Centre. Easily accessible, only 250m off the A66 / Lamplugh Road roundabout, on the right after the Esso garage. Large free parking area, easy access and toilets plus outside seating area. Renowned for our delicious scones and home made cakes we serve an amazing English breakfast plus traditional food with a modern twist. Tasty home made soup, brie tarts, savoury quiche, brie and bacon ciabatta with chilli jam are a small selection from our popular menu. All freshly prepared, gluten free is available including cakes and scones prepared by Julie Enjoy freshly ground coffee/ cream teas while spotting red squirrels and nuthatches feeding outside."

Gorgeous little place tucked in next to a plant nursery. The staff are super friendly and very inviting. We had the full English breakfast along with slices of some cake. Everything was spot on! The prices are amazing and I recommend you try this place over the ones in the main city centre.

Beautiful cafe with lovely staff and great wildlife, saw a red squirrel both times we came here this week. Food is tasty and the coffee is the best!

After discovering Squirrels Pantry whilst on holiday, we have now been back twice and seen their beautiful red squirrel both times! We sat in the outside seating area both times and are mesmerised by how much wildlife there is on their feeders, from the Nuthatch to Chaffinch and Robins and of course the squirrels! Food and drink both beautiful and all the staff are so lovely and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back the next time we are down this way! 5⭐!
