Star of Siam in Allerdale

Had a great meal here right before Christmas 2021. Great service. Owner was there and came over to chat and ask if we were enjoying our visit. Tasty Thai food and an unexpected find in the Lake District.We visit Keswick a couple of times a year and always look forward to eating at Star of Siam.

Great place for lovers of spicy food. We tried 4 vegetarian dishes, the tofu jungle curry was really good and the papaya salad was spot on. I'd highly recommend this place for vegans

Lovely food, friendly staff. Really hit the spot and prepared for me leaving some things out to suit my vegan diet. Definitely be going again, delicious

Superb!!! I’ve been to Thailand and have also eaten at quite a few Thai restaurants in UK (as it’s one of my favourite types of cuisine), BUT honestly can say Star of Siam one is one of the most authentic Thai taste experiences. The staff and management are awesome. Don’t miss this place, you won’t be disappointed! The Thai Drunken Noodles were amazing!!!!

Have been here several times for meals with friends and always delicious, freshly cooked food. Last night no exception. Always find it difficult to decide what to have! This time shared a pineapple curry & panang curry with one friend......wasn't disappointed at all.....lovely meal. Served by young but confident and polite staff. Really enjoyable evening. Thank you once again.

Food and waiting staff were both fantastic. Some of the best Thai food that we had had the pleasure of having at a really competitive price! Also very vegetarian friendly with most dishes having the option of a veg & tofu pairing. We don't come to Keswick often, but if we do we'll be sure to make the Star of Siam one of our first ports of call!

We had a very tasty meal here. The tofu and vegetable jungle curry was very spicy but delicious with lots of ginger. Maybe a bit pricey but that's to be expected for central Keswick. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Neat and attractive, good spacing. Good front of house service; pleasant and prompt. Prices were reasonable. The rice was tasty but the meat was scarce. My real gripe is, I haven't a Thai's slight body mass, and if I'm paying for a meal the portions have to be generous or I may as well eat at home.

Amazing and authentic Thai food! Great courteous staff.. a must visit and don't forget to try their special GnT which was amazing!

Authentic, tasty Thai food.Great service and timing despite being super busy, this place is a must-book but also a must visit! Would wholeheartedly recommend the Pad Thai - a good Pad Thai is the most necessary thing for this type of restaurant, and theirs was phenomenal.Will definitely revisit if ever back in Keswick
