Subway in Allerdale

Just want to put a shout out to Subway at Dunmail Park Workington and the assistant who was fully knowledged on gluten free procedures. Her name is CARLIANNE - I asked for GF sub. She instantly changed her gloves, closed the lids over the food and sprayed down all the work surfaces with antibacterial she also labelled my sandwich and put it in a separate bag from my other purchases. I thanked her and told her how impressed I was and she said she had be taught it all at college. Just want to say a big well done and thank you to all concerned. Nothing was any trouble to her. She is a credit to subway to have on their team 👍

Tables not cleaned down... food left on the floor.... no tray given when placing an order to sit in... wasnt given an option for a meal deal... the salad was frozen when put on a sandwich and tomatoes tasted soggy... gloves were not changed between prepping... the same knife used to cut meat and veg sandwiches without even being wiped or washed. Overall not impressed. Over £15 for 2 sandwiches and a coffee I would expect better.

Ordered through Uber, Very rude when phoning about them sending the wrong sandwich, not apologetic and said it was down to me to come down if I wanted my sandwich replaced when I cannot drive hence ordering through Uber.

I was excited to get a new Tiger Pig, but was let down with being presented with a partially cooked, floppy bagettue, instead of the supposed new crispy tiger bread, and then when I asked for a better cooked bread I was met with looks of disgust or that I had just asked for the world.This location I have been to a few times, and it's not the first time I've had to ask for more of a particular filling item, again you are presented with sighs and looks of wanting the world.The food is decent once you've got it in your hands, but the staff obviously don't agree with the company slogan of have it your way - but if you're prepared to put up with the sighs, and prompt for a little more, then you can have it your way - eventually (service is also a little on the slow side)

Very quiet. Able to eat inside. Very clean. Polite friendly staff

My second home, good wifi very friendly staff and excellent sandwiches.

Typical small town Subway. Unsociable, disconnected, ignorant workers. Couldn't cut bread to save their lives and need to look at the quality of the salad more, nobody wants soggy lettuce or dry chalky tomato, let alone crumbs from someone else's bread. It is what it is.

Not my first visit here. Called here before going to the cinema. Fresh sandwiches, always good! Friendly service.Sometimes it can feel like they are cleaning around you, and this can restrict the choice of seating area available.Other than that, a handy place to grab a bite to eat.

Clean and roomy store, easier access is at the rear of Dunmail Shopping Centre . Great variety of sandwiches, drinks etc.. Friendly staff , self serve drinks machine as well as bottles.
