The Coffee Lounge in Allerdale

A friend and myself went in for breakfast before a five hour drive home. Had a full English and Tea and toast. Could not eat it, not because I didn't like it, but because of the size of the breakfast. If you have a good appetite, especially in the morning, this is the cafe for you. The staff are like the food, very nice too.

Staff behind the counter, re-doing her hair and sneezed in her hands, no sign of washing her hands on either occasion. Staff need to be told of food safety guidelines

Superb. Excellent food, communicative staff. Well lit and ventilated establishment.

Nice clean tearoom with about 80 covers. We were served by a very cheerful woman, ordering pots of tea and cheese and onion sandwiches. They were fine, but slightly lacking in the onion dept! The pots of tea was fine. Pricing was fine, but one point is that they only take cash.

Expensive, you don't get much (full english) £15 with coffee. Good quality food and service.

Great Lunch, Great Service, Great Prices....We had the BLT sandwich (toasted) and the Bacon Butty on a large white barm. Superb quality of food which was delicious. We had a Flat White Coffee which my Husband said was excellent and I had an Earl Grey Tea which came with an additional pot of hot water. Great value for money and we definitely recommend this coffee lounge to any visitors to Keswick. It's ideally situated next to the car park too!

Went with missus and two kids for breakfast food came quickly and was very tasty . Service was great and friendly and they even sorted a gluten free full English for the missus who is a coeliac

Advertised as the biggest breakfast in Keswick it doesn't fill me with a lot of hope for the other cafes. The quality of the food isn't bad, there's just not much of it, and if you remove an item from the breakfast don't forget to ask for a swap as it won't be offered. Coffee could be better and the person that served me could of at least pretended to like their job.
