We showed up on a Saturday evening without a reservation. They kindly managed to squeeze us in, and didn't rush us at all. I got the cod; steak and fries for himself. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. Our first indoor dining experience of 2021 and it didn't disappoint!

Wow. Had a selection of the small plates here and they were amazing. The lobster was great value at nine pounds and the seafood pot was tremendous.The scallop stack with black pudding was very tasty, but you do only get a single scallop.Great food and excellent value.

Overall a nice meal with generous portions and tasty food. I was a little disappointed with the fish chowder which was mainly onion and potato with some little bits of fish. I prefer a rich buttery chowder with big chunks of fish. It was also served with sliced white baguette, although advertised as wheaten bread. Nice and atmosphere and friendly staff

Incredible Irish Food & Kind StaffI've been staying in Ballycastle on holiday for over a month now, and The Diamond Bar + Steaks & Cakes is hands down my favorite place in town to eat and grab a drink! I've never eaten a meal there that wasn't delicious, with some of my favorites being the Steak Sandwich, Steak & Guinness Hot Pot, & seafood chowder. The staff is super friendly & professional, and the atmosphere is cozy! I love sitting by the fire and enjoying their wide wine selection (while my husband drinks a beer), followed by a delicious peanut butter brownie or slice of cheesecake.Don't leave town without enjoying this awesome spot right off the city square!
