The Hungry Caterpillar in Allerdale

Had my first meal from you last night. And it ABSOLUTLY GORGEOUS 😍. There's no food diversity in workington and iv tried a few takeaways since living up here. You are now my Go to for quality tasty food 100%. Well done 👏

Great food, huge portions, process decent for what to get. All food freshly prepared. Staff were excellent and very attentive. One thing.... There were quite a few flies in window seated areas which spoilt the experience hence 4 stars instead of 5

Mediocre food, disinterested staff.Waited 50 minutes for my food to arrive to the table. 10 mins later everyone else had theirs arrive. I didn't get any garnish as they had ran out, but the other 2 did get it with theirs. I had no sauce on mine, like it was supposed to so had to ask for this. One of the other dishes was completely wrong. Not once were we asked if everything was ok during the meal, and not whilst paying.Won't be in a hurry to return, and not worth the money!

Fantastic food and lovely staff! A great variety for health conscious people and for those who want to have more of a cheat day too. Great idea with a well executed menu on the restaurant side as that's all we tried.My only gripes were the wait time was pretty long and staff weren't informed of things that had run out when ordering. Toilets were clean, but broken door locks and seat.However they were very good to us and made up for any issues, especially with the food making it definitely worth the wait!Will definitely visit again, many thanks!

Sorry but you have to order through love food app found frustrating as I was outside shop said it had to deliver but not to my area, price of salard bowl was expensive, so gave up and did not order. Shame as I heard good reviews may try again when they open fully and change score on experience.

Food was delicious but service bit haphazard, waitress gave my food to another customer without checking items? Fortunately customer checked before driving off & returned it then we had to rearrange payment 🙄 my food needed a slight re heat when u got it home but didn't spoil it at all, was delicious 😋

Really nice place, staff are great. My only slight criticism is it takes a while to get your food but to be honest it's worth the wait, the THC BOWLS are beautiful. We will be going back.

Called in on spec with my son. Gorgeous as always. We both had a king sized bowl.

Really wish I didn’t have to write this - as I really wanted to be impressed. Both me and my friend after going here for our lunch yesterday have been up through the night with bad stomachs and dry mouths. All signs point to food poisoning as I’ve been really unwell and sent home from work because of it. I’m not sure what went wrong as the reviews have always been great, but unfortunately I will not be visiting again.
